Turquoise….this nugget has so much to say.

Have you ever been in a situation where you just wish you hadn’t said it….or perhaps wish you had? Is someone not listening to a word you say, you feel as if you are choking on your own words. You feel a constant lump in your throat, you have creative ideas but they just never manifest. Perhaps the throat chakra is out of balance!

A turquoise pendant at the throat can help to clear that narrow pathway in the neck, where words, emotions and creativity can accumulate instead of flowing out providing the ability to speak with truthful honesty.

As you go through the healing, wearing this earthly gem, you just might find it changes colour. Some say it’s because of the reaction of the minerals against the skin….or is it that you are absorbing it’s colour in your aura, the crystals gift to you?

I was chatting to a friend recently who reminded me it is indeed the stone for friendship, which led me to think about the style of pendant. Turquoise is one that is often fashioned into a do-nut ring and worn on a thong around the neck. If the intention is to appreciate or expand on your circle of friends, Turquoise could be the one to open your arms to let them in. The best way to gain true friends is to be one yourself…….here we are back full circle to truthful communications, talk and listen.

If you want to try practicing feng shui in your environment, a piece in the North East area could attract helpful people, friends or good networking links.

It is a good stone to meditate with for those who are inspired by Native American Spirituality as that nation held it as a sacred healer. The talking stick is one of those medicine tools used during meetings. Honour and respect is given to the holder of the talking stick, until they have finished, and handed to the next person. All viewpoints are aired. The talking stick can be adorned with Turquoise, feathers or other personal items of clear speaking items. My favourite cleansing method for Turquoise is to smudge with sage, like the breath of air. perhaps the Turquoise' favourite method is to be cleansed in singing bowl 🙂

Shaded from green to brighter blue, true Turquoise can often have dirty looking marks in them, and one of the Mines is called Sleeping Beauty mine….how quaint! Surface markings can look like the parts of a jigsaw puzzle. Urging us to look at the parts within our nature that need acknowledgment and bringing to wholeness.

Finally, I shall let Archangel Sandalphon have the final word. Carrier of the Turquoise colour vibration, and holding a Turquoise and invoking his aid can result in us grounding our blocked creativity into physical reality, speaking with gentle, assertive clarity, and speaking the Truth is our Divine Right.

it's becasue the Helpful people/networking area is the North West area of the Bagua///not North East, and I am too late to change it 😮

Fleur, you describe the crystals so well that each time I read about them I want to buy them if I haven't already got one. Think you'd better open a crystal shop - you'll make a fortune! Oh, and make room for some chairs for when people read your info about them!

Thanks for that Fleur .... I love Turquoise. It's my favourite crystal. I wore it as a pendant for a long time as I kept getting rashes on my neck when speaking at meetings etc. Now I don't need it so much anymore, but I love to wear Turquoise earrings!

perhaps you are more verbally confident and eloquent now therefore don't need it...it's still good to wear them as earrings....that area is still connected to the 5th chakra area

Great for lowering blood pressure also!

Didn't know that Rosi...perhaps that's due to the high copper content of the bluer Turquoise? 🙂

Yes you are right Fleur - it helped open up my throat chakra.
Just remembered now that I bought a magnetic bracelet with turquoise stones and wore it 24/7 for weeks until it disappeared without trace!

Hi, Rosi. I have high blood pressure & love turquoise! Where should I wear it? Have you any tips about using it to induce calm and stop palpitations / tachycardia, so I can eventually wean myself off beta blockers & other meds?

Thanks for this lovely, uplifting thread, Fleur. 🙂

What a beautiful and brilliant post, thank you fleur!!!

Turquoise has always been my first and strongest love, it was the stone (mineral) that got me so interested in discovering more about spirituality and crystals. Its so magical!! Sadly in the past I have lost a turquoise ring which was given to me by my mother.

If all goes well, I am about to get some turquoise jewellery for myself, I am really exited, just before Christmas I got a bracelet and hope acquire one or two rings. I have not come across a necklace for me as yet although I am aware it is a stone which should be positioned on the throat charka.

i hope in this thread more people share their experience with this fabulous stone, which has always made me feel very happy and safe

best wishes ~

It may not help me much then....but it still looks good in my singing bowl. 🙂

Hi Starshower, If you're taking it as an elixir, 3-4 drops under the tongue, twice a day.

If using the crystal - I would wear it near your heart chakra.
