Hi Guys
I am interested to know what qualified colonic therapists (if that's the right term?) think of this web site?
I look forward to finding out!
Thanks
Donna
ps I did post this earlier but it looks like it's not showing up. Apologies if it comes up twice.
RE: Dr Natura
Hi!
Well, I've been drained for the past 2 days. I don't feel the same energy as I did when I was cleansing. I'm a bit disappointed. I really don't have that same feeling anymore. I'm pooping a little less too. I have been slacking on the water intake. Just not thirsty at all. I'm sooo tired. The same as before the colonix. I called them today and asked if this was normal and they said no. They said that i might be coming down with something...possible. Has anyone felt the same when they stopped. I want to go to my workout and can't get the energy to go. Last night i slept for 9hrs and i didn't move at all all night. I was just too tired. I don't want to have to be on the colonix for the rest of my life to feel energized. I think i need to buy some vitamins.
Have a good day!
RE: Dr Natura
Hey QC - just wanted to pop in and say that when i dont get my liter of water (at least one) i have absolutley no energy....
hope that helps
hope everyone is doing good!
Happy pooing!
Ada
RE: Dr Natura
Thanks Ada! How have you been doing?
I have not been drinking all the water i should. I started taking the rest of the fibre I had left-over. I just don't poop as much as before. I have a really sluggish colon. I really miss the kleritea. I'm thinking about ordering some soon. I just hate the fact that I have to pay so much in customs. I'm drinking this other tea from Lalma it's a detox one and it's nothing like the kleritea.
On another note, I have been working out a lot. I feel like my body is starting to get in better shape.
Take care!
RE: Dr Natura
hey QC, i am doing much better, trying out a new aloe vera drink.....
i have a sluggush colon if i dont drink the water i am supposed to....
for the kleritea - you could try a sena tea - my hubby says his mom made it, and it tastes just like the kleritea....
im lazy to work out - trying to, but always poop out lol
i see not a lot of people post here anymore.....
see ya round!

Hi everyone,
Sorry I have not been on the forum for a while to reply to the above posts. I'm amazed at how this thread has grown in my absence! Just thought I'd give you all an update on my experience with D/Natura.
I ordered 3 months supply and had to interupt the first month of taking the product because I was travelling around and it was inconvenient to continue with the programme - those of you taking the product will know this, I'm sure.
My initial progress was documented at the start of this thread and things carried on pretty much the same i.e. regular cramping discomfort, increased BMs etc. I have to report that all the stuff on the DN website did not happen in my case and I kept looking for it because of wishful thinking, hoping it would 'cure' IBS. I thenresumedthe rest of the programme in late December and completed it in late February.
My feedback on the product/experience is:
1. It was very expensive. I wanted to purchase in dollars (as my friends had previously) but DN changed their website and would no longer allow European transactions.Theydirected me to their Belgium website and I had to pay in Euros. This, compared to dollars, was extortionately high. (I think this may have changed and you can now purchase in GBP from a UK website)
2. I did not see anything like their website suggested. What I did see was a lot of undigested food. I do chew my food thoroughly and I have a fast bowel transition rate, so what the product did achieve (i.e. tea/fibre/tablet combination) is to eliminate a lot quicker and as I'm a quick eliminator anyway, you can imagine the consequences!
3. No parasites came out (not to my knowlege, anyway).
4. Any weird stuff I did see was just the fibre 'gel'.
5. I did not see multi coloured BMs as stated by users on their website.
6. I did experience a lot of abdominal discomfort (more in the first month than the other two months, though).
7. It did not 'cure' IBS.
8. Neither did I lose weight.
9. My skin was not improved, if anything it went rashy (and still is!) where it was not before.
10. After finishing the product, I continued to experience abdominal discomfort and then it settled back to normal after a couple of weeks.
11. Several weeks on from completing the programme, my bowels returned to their IBS status.
My conclusion:
Having been on a vegetarian diet for many years and having had several colonics over the years, I guess I would not expect too many surprises when it came to observing my BMs. Perhaps I am not a typical user of the product, I don't know. It does make me wonder, though, about the diets of the people that reported so-called sensational effects (or, indeed, whether the reports are true re their website).
On the whole, yes, I believe I did benefit from taking DN, although any benefit is outweighed by the expense of the product. I benefitted in as much as I cleared out my system and paid greater attention to my wellbeing during the course of the programme.
I was disappointed that DN did not fundamentally change/cure the IBS (my main reason for buying the product). Two and a half months after completing the DN programme, I am again experiencing IBS symptoms, although, perhaps the symptoms are not as severe. I am not sure on that one.
What I have discovered is that Ido need to take a psyllium husk supplem

I would just like to reply to speckled wood's comment above.
I went onto the website and used the drop down menu and picked UK, i went through the website and after much thougth i decided to go for a 3 month course ( i suffer from IBS) and thought it would really help. Anyhow, when i came to pay for the items it gave me the the total cost in the good old Great British Pound £156.00 inc p&p so i thought great i can purchase this from the uk, WRONG, it comes from the EU and when i got my credit card statement i was horrified to find that they had put an extra £14.00 on top, when i questioned this they told me that it was for the bank charges. I am angry that not only have they taken an extra £14.00 but there is no where on their website that states this charge and my invoice states £156.00. They refused to pay back this amount at first, they have now agreed but only if i agree to their terms of providing them with certain bank account details which frankly i am not prepared to give them, as they took the money from my credit card they could pay it back on that.................................... All i want to say is BEWARE of hidden costs.............. i certainly wont be buying DN again, i shall not be so lazy next time and instead get down to my local health store

Hmmmm, all is not rosy at natura towers it seems. Good to have you back speckled wood, thanks for posting your experience. xx

Hi Toni,
I purchased DN back in May last year and paid £176.67, which included free P&P.
If Ibought it from the US, it would have cost under £100. I dithered too long because I was worried about customs fees and could find no clear info on how much that would cost, so by the time I'd made my decision to purchase, it was too late - they stopped supplying Europe and I had to buy from the EU website.
I agree with you about not supplying your bank details - cheeky beggars! Can you raise a dispute with yourcredit cardcompany? I had a dispute on my cc once, rang the cc company, they refunded it immediately and told me if the supplier could prove the amount they were claiming then it would be taken back. I never heard about the matter again.

Thanks for your warm welcome Donna.
Just to clarify for everyone, I didn't post my experience with the intentionto put people off, but just to tell it as it really was for me.
To add some perspective, I imagine that if someone is:
- not vegetarian
- may not havehad a particularly healthy diet
- and has never had a colonic
then they may get more out of the DN programme than I did.

RE: Dr Natura
Hello Everyone!
In reply to everyone, the DN is expensive. I'm not really sure of the benefits yet. My stomach hurts a little. I have finished my 2 months a month ago. I go to the bathroom once in the morning and that's it. My stomach is still as bloated as it was before. I haven't lost any weight but my b-friend has...about 10 lbs.
My energy level is still good since the program...that was a nice change cuz I used to be soo exhausted all the time before the program. It must have cleaned me out somewhat. I was pooping way too much for it not to. I have a very sluggish coloncontrary to Speckled Wood.
I don't know about the truth to those posts on the site. There could be some exaggeration. I am pretty sure that I had evacuated a giant worm in the 2nd month. I was going to order the DN once a year but now I'm not sure. If there was a distributor here in Canada, maybe. I do really love the tea. That's what I miss the most.
The colonix has not cleared up my skin or do anything special to my hair either. Oh well, i'm sure it wasn't a bad thing to do it...I'm sure it's good for those who are constipated.
Take care!
RE: Dr Natura
Ive just finished my first month on Dr Natura and its been very interesting, and interesting to read the recent posts.
I think with all of these health related issues that each individual is different and what works for one person might not work for another. Quebec girl - if you are still not feeling good after the colonix, thenperhaps you can consider looking elsewhere for a cause. Im not a medical doctor, but there could be other reasons - hormone inbalance, food intolerance, an allergy. It can be tough sometimes with these things - my son has suffered for some timewith tummy and botty aches and we are still trying to get to the bottom of it - we arent sure if its wheat intolerance, IBS, but we are plodding along trying to find an answer or root cause....
With DN, I think the huge things you see on the web site are almost certainly from people with very poor diets - fast food, booze, whatever - and over the years it just builds up. So for some poeple the effects of using DN will be minimal, and for others quite dramatic. So, for those with good diets perhaps DN could be a waste of money, or at least the value of it questionable.
I do personallyfeel the product does what it claims to do - a mixture of the gel fibre, herbs and laxative tea will clean out ones colon - its just that what needs to be cleaned out depends on the individual. In my case, i did have 3 or 4 things come out early on in the first 1 or 2 that made me go "wow! - that was inside me" and my colon does generally feel a lot better than it did before (i used to have cramps or tightness and a lot of wind). However, since week 2 nothing else interesting has come out, so i think its probably done the job for me and Im glad i tried it. I shall probably just one more month and thats it and not do the fill 3 months.
hope this was helpful
Tony
RE: Dr Natura
Can anyone pls tell me how many times per day they are taking the Colonix, I have just re read the leaflet and it says that you can use it up to 3x’s per day, I am currently taking having one scoop in the morning but if anyone feels that you benefit more from taking more, then I will give it a go. I am finding it really easy to take and for the first time in years I am regular, however the bloating is still occurring. [:o]
I am in the process of changing my diet.
For breakfast in the past I have been having porridge with Soya milk but I have to admit that I do feel bloated for a while after, so today I had scramble egg with some salmon and wow I didn’t feel bloated at all afterwards, during mid morning early afternoon I have this sudden taste to have something sweet, I went shopping and whilst I was there I brought some Eccles cakes and also cappuccino mix, so came home eat the cakes (2) and they weren’t large ones either, made up my cappuccino mix and read a few magazines. Then took the dogs out for a walk and I noticed whilst walking round my stomach became really bloated, I was so pleased to get home as I had to dash to the loo ………… what a relief

RE: Dr Natura
i forgot to mention that i received my over charged money back from DN, should anyone get charged more than the invoice states, then make a fuss.

RE: Dr Natura
Hi All,
I just ordered my 3-month supply of DN. I hope this thread stays active! I have very much enjoyed reading everyone's reaction to this product -- and was the clencher to my having ordered for myself. On the whole, I think the response is quite favorable and I am eager to get started on the program. For those who did not have the anticipated responses, I am sorry - must feel disappointed to say the least - this is an expensive product to buy and then not feel satisfied with. Did any of you request a refund from the company due to not having been satisfied with their product? If so, what response did you get?
I will post when supply arrives and am actually able to start the program -- the day-by-day updates were riviting! I shall be honored to participate in the poop discussions!
RE: Dr Natura
Hi everyone, its been quite a few months since Ive last posted, but I do come to the board every few weeks to check out how everyone's doing. Im sure most of you hadnt read about my experience on the colonix program, so I'll give a summary and hopefully wont be too lengthy and hopefully helpful to those of you on it.
I had completed my 3 month cleanse July 06. My daughter learned about colonix from a friend who's family had great success with the products. Ive always had problems with constipation, and used a natural supplement with cascara to help me go every few days. But after reading all the testimonials on Dr. Natura's website, it made so much sense that I was willing to try. I had talked to my primary doctor about my constipation problems and she suggested I just drink more water and eat more veggies which didnt hellp.
Im 48 and in pretty good shape, exercise, eat healthy although I love sweets, but try to eat in moderation. One problem with my diet prior to the cleanse was that I never drank water or much of anything for that matter; Ijust was never thirsty. That definately changedwith the cleanse, because you HAVE to drink the water. I started the cleanse April '06 and was ready to give up after about 2 weeks, cause it didnt seem like it was working for me. I was following the instructions exactly, but wasnt going. I contacted customer service numerous times and they were very helpful and suggested I steep my tea longer up to 25 minutes which I did and wow, did that do the trick! I started going about 3 to 5 times every morning in great amounts. I think I eliminated more in those 3 months than I had in the previous 5 years. I think my colon was so backed up and clogged with old buildup that my system must have had a difficult time shedding it. Some of my benefits were my hair not following out as much as it had, my nails growing longer and stronger and not breaking as easily. I had a fungus rash on my back and toenails which went away. I really didnt lose much weight, maybe 3 pounds, but I wasnt necessarily needing to loseweight, but I did losemy stomach pouch.
Just a few tips, make sure when you drink your fiber mixture in the mornings to immediately follow with 8 oz of water. Important to drink 64 oz of water each day, but don't drink too much at one time and not more than 64oz in a day. You can over saturate your body. If you dont get enough water, the fiber wont be easily eliminated and you can get bloated and more constipated. Someone mentioned taking more fiber in a day. I would stick with 1 scoop in the morning and check with customer service if they think additional fiber will help you, cause too much fiber may cause bloating if you're not eliminating.
Hope that helps and please feel free to ask me any questions regarding my experience. Im currently doing my yearly maintenance on the cleanse.
Take care!
Niki
RE: Dr Natura
Hi everyone! I've read through almost all of this monster thread and I have decided to give the dr natura products another try. I tried the colonix a couple years ago but didn't last long on it, just didn't stick with it. I have been having lots of digestive/intestinal/stomach issues lately. Well, I always have but it has gotten worse recently. I am wondering if you all think it is worth it to do both products, the colonix and toxinout together or if just the colonix would be enough?
Whoa I was just checking out the site and am a little surprised at the price! I swear it was less when I got it last time, but now that I think about it it was definitely a while ago.
Thanks for all your experiences and insight!

RE: Dr Natura
Hi Toria, welcome to the board. When I did my cleanse, I only did the colonix. I dont think the toxinout was available at that time, although I did take probiotics to replenish the good bacteria during my cleanse. Also, Ibelieve Dr.Natura recommends that if you're going todo the toxinout, todo the colinix a month or so before you start the toxinoutso some of thebuildup canbe removed first. But I think you'll be fine just doing the colonix as well. You're right, it is pricey, but it really doeswork and was very easy to use. Good luck and keep us posted on your progresss.

RE: Dr Natura
Hi Toria, welcome to the board.
I agree with Niki, Toxinout wasn't available in the UK previously, although it was in the states.
Hope everything goes well for you this time and that you are able to stick with it. I am sure that, if you need any support, then everyone here on the board will be onlytoo happy to help.

RE: Dr Natura
Hello everyone! wow - this thread really has grown since i was last here....been busy with school - so hadnt had the chance to pop in for a while - but here I am!
My experiences through this program are throughout this thread - but like niki - i feel its important to share!
i was about 195 pounds - and getting closer every day to the 200 mark - which scared me tremendously. I started with relacore, which i was running low of, and had nasty mood swings from, and then i remembered the dr natura tea i had ordered about a year previously because i was having problems with constipation....
needless to say i talked my husband into getting three months for both of us (yes very expensive), but as i watched my money deplete from my bank account i kept telling myself this would work....but having doubts about it daily. then i got it, told my hubby we would start on the weekend, and im glad we did because it hit him hard the second day. we adjusted our tea steeping (VERY IMPORtANT TO FIGURE OUT!!!) and i tryed different experiments with the fiber to get it down (but honestly its not as bad as i thought, just wasnt used to it i guess) i finally settled on soy milk (which i realize now was a bad decision) and water mixture.
throughout the three months i took various breaks - some were needed because i was exhuasted from pooing - and at work its hard to do my job if i am constantly running to the bathroom (which i do now anyways because i drink so much stinking water!!!) so i thought the breaks were needed - plus i needed a break from the tea.
my husband broke for only a week in the program - he only had slight constipation - would go every day or every other day, and he was fine with his poo - until he started the program. then and still he was going at least three times a day. he has not been around fast food, junk food, or a lot of processed food most of his life (honestly until he went to iraq) and so he felt that he didnt need the program at first - until i told him of research i had done that showed many people from where we lived were constantly sick and gaining weight because of tapeworms.....
i wasnt a 'looker' at first - but day 6 is when i started poking.....and yes - the stuff on thier website is what came out of me....
i liked the program because it got me where i needed to be - a concious decision to eat healthy things, and drink more water.
i lost roughly 15 pounds of poo, lol, and i lost more weight - and still loosing weight after the program (i am currently 155!). my body has regulated itself - which i am thankful to the program for that as well. i poo roughly 1-3 times a day - throughout the day now, not just the mornings.
i learned more about where my health needed to be, and different approaches to eating much more healthier....and as my hubby says 'if its not from the ground i dont want to eat it'....lol
Now - you can take this as you want - you can believe this or not, some of the things i read on thier website looked really bogus, but who knows. i am fitting into clothes i havent been able to wear for about a year, i feel good, and i look a heluva lot better.....
however - for the yearly dose of dr natura? i dont know. i am actually trying out another detox program - Thisilyn. its a three phase program, all vegitarian, and only 15 days. it has the same basis of dr natura, more than half the price, and here is a bit of info for those interested =
Phase I: Whole body Detox

RE: Dr Natura
Hi Guys,
I'm a newbie here. I've just got my Drnatura-colonix yesterday. I only brought one month supply to try out. The instruction said it was best to detox with the "toxinout". Did anyone just use the colonix by itself? I plan to start my colonix program tomorrow. Any suggestions?
RE: Dr Natura
Hi everyone! & a special hi to my fellow newbie Jenn!
This is my 4th day on the program. I purchased a 30 day supply as a trial after reading just about every post here; extremely encouraged by those of you who report amazing results (Ada, good for you!) after completing the program.
So far, it's been nothing to write home about. I've been careful to drink the requisite amount of water. Feeling a bit bloated and crampy, stomach unsettled in the AM&going to the bathroom slightly more than usual (although regularity was not really an issue before). Hoping there isa payoff -- when do these symptoms go away, and especially when does one start feeling super energized?
thanks
RE: Dr Natura
Thanks Chouette!
I called Drnatura customer care to ask their opinion if I should take the colonix alone or use both the colonix and toxinout program together. They actually suggested I should just use the colonix alone. I asked if all those testimonials where from people who took the colonix alone. They said it is. So I've decided to start my colonix program today.
Today is my first day on DrNatura/Colonix. Took 2 capsules this morning, followed by the fiber drink thing. I've already had 2 bm. Prior to the start of this program, my bm where pretty much normal. Will go everyday or every other day. I'm just hoping to get rid of the junk in my colon and loose some fat around my belly.
That's it for now, until I take the special tea just before bedtime.
Willkeep you guys posted:)
RE: Dr Natura
Hello Everyone!
Today is day 2 of my program. I drank my tea last night. I loved the taste. It tastes like peppermint tea. Had a bm this morning, nothing unusual.
Until after an hour later I had another BM. Holy smokes!I can't belive what passed out of me! I had this 3ft long intestine thing coming out of me. [:'(]
I poke at it. It was unbreakablke like what most describe it. And therewasthis strechy guey thing in the middle. It's looks like those plastic outer thing people use to make sausage.
I can't wait to drink my tea tonite......and really looking forward to what else comes out of me.
I'll keep you guys posted.
RE: Dr Natura
Hi guys!
Yesterday was Day 2 of my program and I already had 5 BM'S. The last 3 BM's were kind of small.
Anyways, today is Day 3. This morning when I was making the fiber drink, I accidently let it sit too long. I was cooking breakfast (egg sandwich) at the same time. The fiber drink started to turn into a thick guey glob. It reminds me of melted Tapioca that is stuck together. Or you can say it's a blob of gluten.I feel all the comments that everyone mentioned about seeing a gluey substance that was hard to break could be this. It seems like you drink the fiber. Then you have that guey stuff inside of you. You then pass out poop with this guey substance.
I'm starting to have doubts about the worms that people are talking about. Seems to me so far, it's just guey stuff that makes us poop a lot.
Anyways, what happened to the rest of the people on this blog. I haven't seen anyone post any comments. I would really like to find out the experiences you guys are going through????
RE: Dr Natura
Sorry Guys......forget about the last comment I made about just passing out guey stuff with poop. I just went to the restroom and passed out a whole lot of stuff. I poked at my poop and notice these black things that look like worms.
I had to go on DrNatura website and look under parasites. Indeed, those black things look the same as the worms they pictured. I passed out at least 3 different worms. This is so gross, but I'm happy to get those out.
RE: Dr Natura
Today is day 14 on Colonix. I am bloated, drinking the required amount of water, I eat mostly organic and vegetarian and I am disappointed!!! Pants and clothes that were loose when I started this program aretight and uncomfortable. No, I am not on my period. I was the day I started. Any advice? I'm ready to hang this up which is NOT like me.
Thanks for your help,
J
RE: Dr Natura
I forgot to say that I was VERY regular in the BM department before I started. I figured my colon needed cleaning. I'd been through a few other detox protocals before this, but never the colon. I am very active as well.
J
RE: Dr Natura
Hi Everyone!
Wow! It's been a while since I've been on. Welcome to all newbies!!!
A little report maybe is due on how my colon is doing.
I felt great when I was on the program. I finished it about 2 months ago and I still feel the same energy which is great because I used to be so tired for no reason all the time before the program.
My colon...not so hot[&o]
I am very regular and always have been...that was never the issue. I've always had stomach aches once in a while...now, I have aches more often. I feel like there's a rock or something hard going around in there. I am going to see my doctor on the 31st of this month. My stomach is very bloated all the time. I workout hard at least 4 x a week. I eat healthy also. I don't eat junk although it is summer and I love to have ice cream a lot. I had switched to soy milk for my cereals in the morning thinking maybe the bloating will go away...not.
Ada, you said something about not taking any soy milk anymore...why? (how are you doing, by the way, it's been a while...lol).
Anyhow, I don't if I should have dome the 3 mths instead of just 2 mths but I wish my stomach would just deflate already.
Till next time! Happy pooping!
Bad Side Effects of Colonix
I've been on the cleanse for 10 days now. I am following the directions, except I steep the horrible tasting tea for 10 minutes. I've had a headache off an on since starting the program. I've also felt like I've had a stomach virus twice now. I am having severe gas and bloating, which I've never had before. The gas smells awful. Some days I don't even have a bm. I actually feel constipated sometimes. I also have a nagging stomach ache; like there's a hard ball in the middle of my stomach all the time. This is not working the way I expected it to work at all. I'm very disappointed. And I hate being full of gas like this. It's miserable.
I think the point of the program is to lead you to a healthier life style. I remember my hubby staying close to the bathroom while he was on the program as well. I can proudly say that I have lost roughly 30 pounds since the beggining of the year, and dropped 4 sizes. I still have yet to start an excersize routine either.... i drink about 1-2 cups of yerba Mate, and eat organic things - and fresh as possible - and lots of water!!!!
other than that it's been normal as possible.
Hope all goes well with you!
Ada
