A friend of mine has asked me to make her a light body lotion. She wants a 'heady' scent and cannot offer me any favourite scents as she doesn't really know much about oils.

I tend to steer clear of anything heady - opting more for citrusy smells.

Anyone want to have a bash at suggesting a blend?
I need enough drops for 150mls of lotion.

Oh, she has thyroid issues, so any contraindications for that need to be taken into account as well please.

Thanks!

RE: suggest a blend please!

Heady oils which spring to mind for skin care would be Jasmine, Ylang, Neroli (more "base note" than "heady" perhaps). Sandalwood is great for skincare but many people have objections to its use because of environmental effects of producing the oil. I'm not suggesting you put all of these in a blend together!! But these are simply single oils you might like to choose from.

:)Hello,
Why dont you make a few up and get her to smell/try them?
I was always told if the smell dosnt appeal to the client then they dont need it.
The client must like the oils being used regardless of how affective they are.
Dont forget every one is differnet and although you like certain oils they might not.

Good look

Rachel
