Do you believe in God if so why, or if not why not? Recently I was told of a priest that came on television and was I believe retiring, but he never believed in God it was just a job.
I was amazed that a person could take on such a position and not to believe in God.

How could a person do a job without believing in what he did or preached, to people that may of came to him for enlightenment of the Creator.

surely he should not have been in the position he was in!

Thank you Judy

I am using a new version of Dragon speech, it is new to me anyhow, hopefully I can join in the conversations as I used a.

It recognizes my voice better than the other version used to, hopefully I can make conversations without getting frustrated all the time with myself, God doesn't give us anything we can't handle or deserve.

Reading back through my previous conversations with people here, I still think the same although part of my brain is missing, I never had a complete, in the first instance anyhow, ha ha.

If I repeat my conversations here to other people is because I cannot remember what I wrote before, although I have made notes and printed off my previous conversations and studied them.

I used to enjoy conversing with you, I think we have a no homogeneity with each other, I think searching for God is with both of us, we can only see Him in his works, in every flower, and every breath of wind, etc. we have an ingrained longing for God built into every one of us, whether we recognize it it, is up to the and the individual

peace and light

Hi Peter.

I think the Dragon seems to be working better that the previous version - you sound much more natural! 🙂

One thing you said is bothering me:

God doesn't give us anything we can't handle or deserve.

God doesn't give us anything but blessings Peter! Evil, lack, disease, accident, injury, suffering etc etc are not from God, therefore they have no cause, no substance and no law under-girding them. They are illegitimate. Register your protest rather than acquiescing to them! No-one deserves suffering as a punishment either.

This is an inspiring account of a healing of a brain tumour when the author stopped accepting that she deserved to be punished and realised that God is Love.

I remember once when a young friend asked me to pray for her. What came to me was the words a man who lectured in forgiveness after being a Japanese prisoner-of-war used to say. He would hold up three fingers to his audience and say, "There are three things God does not give us, sin, disease and death" And then he would move his arms in a big circle and say, "All the rest is yours."

To cut a long story short, this young woman was instantaneously and permanently healed of a severe allergy to animals. (If you'd like to read it, it's in full here: )

God only has blessings abundant for you Peter!
