Holiday Adventure

We are off to Feungirola on Monday 23rd and really looking forward to it, our last attempt was cancelled by the volcano, the moment we stepped in to the airport CANCELLED came up :dft006: However, on the other hand when we were in Majorca in April we were actually 'stranded' out there. Lucky we were with a package tour at the time as we were there four extra days and they changed us from half board to full and we had such an adventure getting home.

It was crazy at times, and so badly organised, the poor reps were running around like mad dogs...:dogrun::dogrun::dogrun: But at the same time it was really fun, I get bored very quickly but during the journey back to England, bored is something I was not We went on a horrible cruise ship from Palma to Barcelona, it was waiting to be refurbished, we had to drink out of big plastic mugs and the shower head at mushrooms growing out of it, the food was mainly sprouts and chips We then had a 17 hour journey across to France with only 2 Spanish drivers who had never done that journey before and gabbled all night long, swerving this way and that. When we finally arrived in Dover, there were not enough seats on the coaches and Thompsons arranged a taxi which took us all the way back to Durham! my husband photographed the cost £640 :005: MAD
