RE: Going to pollenca
Hi
Puerto Pollenca is really beautiful and a great holiday destination and only a few miles away lies the lovely town of Pollenca with little narrow streets and a couple of lovely squares where you can enjoy a drink or a coffee. One of the most authentic is the Cafe Espanol where locals gather for their first shot of coffee of the day. Its amazing how many people visit Peurto Pollenca and yet miss out on the town. Even if you don't have a car a bus runs regularly. If you do have a car a lovely trip out from Pollenca is through the mountains, really amazing to the town and Port of Soller. You can visit the Monastery of Lluc on the way and I think also Sa Callobra and if I remember correctly you also pass an amazing reservoir. Have a great time relazing on the beach or whatever but if you have the time take the opportunity to enjoy all that northern mallorca has to offer. There are a couple of good websites that you can check out for info on Peurto Pollenca.
