My first recommendation: don't change money at the Airport in Budapest. It is much more expensive than in the city centre.

I have travelled through Budapest quite a lot of times and one time stayed there overnight on my journey out and back. It was a lovely place to visit - only wish I had had more time - but I will always think of it as the spiritual home of traffic lights! I have never seen so many so close together in the centre. No fun when you are trying to lead a convoy of vans and trailers through and someone always got left at the lights!

How was Budapest?

it was very nice thankyou celia. we didnt get to see as much of budapest as i would have liked as the primary reason was to go to the grand prix (not for me but for him), but we did have a nice time. it was my first grand prix and i quite enjoyed it actually. budapest is a very beautiful city, i loved the architecture. it was very hot for the first few days which was quite hard running around trying to do as much siteseeing as possible! i would definately recommend a visit to anyone who hasnt been.

we had a bit of a result on the flight going out. we got upgraded and were sitting with jenson button and mark webber (plus girlfriends) the whole flight was packed with F1 personnel!
