Your absolutely bang on track hun, keep the faith!!! Some days when training in reflexology, your all fingers and thumbs, and somedays you just need to step back and see how far you've come in your training!!!! I trained in reflexology 5yrs ago, and I'm constantly learning, and loving it!

Holistic - Just remember 'Whole': you are working the whole person and not the symptom. Taking in the whole body, physically, metally and emotionally.

A client may come in with a sore shoulder: so when you are working their whole foot, you are trying to work the whole person and get them as relaxed as possible, creating the right environment for their own body to heal natually (bringing homeostasis/balance). So when you are observing the client, it can be good to look at them 'holistically'. Their shoulder could be feeling that way due to tiredness, stress, old injury, the way they sleep, maybe they emotioanlly carrying a situation, a person, problem, possibly even questioning their ability at their job (as your shoulders/am and hands are your doing center). So holistically, it's lovely to do relfexology taking in the whole person as it makes sense that our emotions also have to effect our body in many amazing ways too.

The body speaks an amazing language!! How lucky are we, to get the chance to witness it for a living....and get paid. I love my job!

Never ever ever, be afraid to ask questions!!!!!

Holistic derived from the Greek "Whole" Whole being psychological and physiological
homepstasis again from Greek meaning "to stop, pause or balance" (stasis.)
