bloody ages!!! when i spoke the them last year chasing results they said this year would be much quicker as they will all be mc questions to mark. bet they dont!!!

Do we have anyone on the boards who marks these exams who could shed more light on the process?
Like how many scripts ITEC mark in a year?

i did my itec sports massage papaer on the 26th may and i am still waiting for my results. I phoned itec today and they said that they are not allowed to tell you the results you have to wait fo the college or to come in the post.!!!

Im also about to take itec exam's in professionalism/code's of conduct/anatomy and physiology/massage theory and pratical massage exam,we were told that there is a min wait of 6 week's.
and that are college is sent the result's and then they phone us as soon as they recieve them.hope this of some help.

i was told it takes 35 working days which is 7 weeks.........ill beleive it when i see it [:'(]

I got my ITEC results more or less straight away...........mind you I did have a lot of problems with ITEC and colleges so perhaps they made a special effort.

I would ring and ask for Nicky.........if you press hard enough she may tell you whether you have passed or failed but not your marks as such........worth a try!!!

As far as I know the new MC exams are processed by computer.

I think you have been really lucky, but it also depends on when you sit the exams. I don't think the exams can be processed by computers yet, if they were it wouldn't take 8-12 weeks to get the results.

I don't think luck had anything to do with it. It was the fact that ITEC had messed me around for months...........I took my theories in December and were not able to take my practicals untils March. It was a complete nightmare. I think out and out guilt had something to do with it.

I even managed to get all my certificates within 2 days of sitting my practical exams. They even took my certificates around to the insurers for me so I could get insurance straightaway. They were absolutely wonderful.

Hello everybody !!. I have finished my exam in A & P but I have been told by the college I could be wating three months or more for the results but I need the results by the end of Aug to be able to do my next course, does anybody have any suggestions on what the best thing for me to do ?, please help !!![:@]

welcome to HP, do go along and say hi in the new members forum, you might want to consider changing your name when you get your results to very excitied!!! Most colleges will let you book another course on the premise you will resit straight away in the unlikely event you will fail.....so dont worry and get booking!

That's amazing, I bet you were so pleased to get your certificates so quickly. Waiting for the results is always a nightmare and it is so frustrating when things go wrong. In the end it's all worth it.

ITEC have got much quicker this year, as they are now using a computer to do 'optical character recognition' on the multi-choice papers. 4 weeks should be the average. It does also depend if there is anyone working at the colleges over the summer holidays, as if there isn't, that could delay thing somewhat.

I'm also awaiting results and have been accepted for the sports massage course. This needs the A & P but they usually take you on on good faith you will retake if fail this time.

I did my exams on the 12/13 July and got my results this week. I rang my college and they said they had posted it out on Monday. They gave me my results over the phone (yipeee, I got a credit!) as I hadn't received them by Thursday. So you might want to try ringing your college.

I did my course at Morley and they are very efficient and sent the papers off as soon as the exams were finished. ITEC say they take 35 working days from the time they receive them, so if your college hasn't received the results yet, perhaps they delayed a bit in sending off the exam papers?

I know how nerve racking and annoying it is to have to wait so long for your results. Hope you do well.

I rang the college and they said thay have only just received the April exam results and posted them out!!! So how long will the July ones take!!!

I get a call yesterday to say that I got 86% "a credit" in my ITEC A&P!!!

I took ITEC Holistic Massage including A&P on the 19th and 23rd July and I got my results on 4th September. I got a credit which I was really pleased with.

Thank you SereneSal. I must be mad but I'm hoping to do the ITEC Reflexology course also thinking of doing ITEC Indian head massage just not sure if I can do both at the same time.

Loop Lass, I'd love to hear how the ITEC IHM course goes. I was considering doing it, but thought I might be able to get by with a weekender instead (which I haven't done yet.)

And Jo Girl, Reflexology is on the menu for me next too, but first I'm doing an on-site massage course and some advanced A&P modules - not with ITEC (yes, I guess it's me that's loopy to want to do more A&P!)
