Hi
I have enrolled to do the ITEC Holistic Massage starting in September, after just doing the A&P.
Does anyone have a lits of all the equipment that you are required to buy?
Is there an offical ITEC list?
Thanks
Jo
RE: What Equipment do you need for the ITEC Holistic Massage?
Your college will either send you a letter with kit details or you will be told on your first day.
When I did the course it was
Grapeseed oil
2 towels (white, but depends on the college)
No water Antibacterial Hand cleaner
Foot wipes
Tissues/Cotton wool
Rosewater
2 bowls for jewellery, bits and bobs etc.
Uniform
You will also probably need a massage table to use outside of college. It was not essential, but I found that after doing one treatment on the floor or bed it just wasn't possible and would lead to serious back problems.

Hi Jogirl
I'm also starting the same course in September in Essex - whereabouts are you doing yours?
I'll be keeping an eye on this thread too, I'd like to start getting bits together for the course.
🙂

I only needed my uniform, towels and cotton wool pads, everythgin else was provided.
I used to resent carting all the towels about, but looking at this thread I suppose I was spoiled!
Good luck to both of you, hope you learn loads and have a good time.

[sm=sandrine.gif]Thanks all of you for the info.
When I enrolled at my college yesterday, there was a list, it included things like, white uniform, bed, different sized white towels, block trousers, white t-shirt.
We were told we would get a list on the first day, but I thought that it would be good to get a few bits before September as the list looked long and it is a lot of money to spend in one go, so thought I could gets bits every month.
Looks like the bed then will be my first purchase!!
Star04 - I am doing my course in East London.
