The lady who assessed us tonight ripped me to shreds on the basis of my appearance. I am bit overweight and not as dainty as the other girls on my course. However I am very clean and presentable and would not dream of attending class not looking MY best. During the massage she watched me much more than the other students and afterwards told me to loose weight and said that I would loose loads of marks for my appearance in the exam.
You canot lose points for being overwieght, unless you canot get round the couch, client, bend etc. This woman is talking through her rear end.
I have been a therapist for just over five years now and I have seen a lot of therapists at work on clients and myself I would much prefer to be massaged by a heavy therapist than a slim one as I feel that a Heavy therapist gives me a deeper massage than a slim one. Please don't take offence you slim ladies just my personal choice.
