How much sound energy does the Sun create? If the Sun was closer to Earth, would the noise deafen us?

Just a thought.....but if the sun did make noise, i think it would sound like the ocean and waves carshing against the rocks. What does everyone else think it would sound like?

Like a molten hot furnace bubbling and spewing hot gases. Kinda like my stomach after a red hot curry 😀

like the worst (or best) thunder I have ever heard: in the Pyreneans mountains in south France (about 1500 metres high, surrounded by peaks).
I woke up and saw the entire night sky: white, with simulatneously the biggest and longest explosion noise I have ever heard, and thought with that strangely clear analytical mind you get in extremes situations: "right, all the mountains have been blown up"...! only after 4 second did I become a bit scared, realising I was a tiny humanunder of an angry sky, emptying all its emotions on the mountains.
Or...it might sound like a volcano? actually, I don't know what it sounds like, I only witnessed volcanoes on tv (thanks god).
