Hi folks
Has anyone else been made aware of a massive solar flare expected this Tuesday? I have had someone pass on info that was received a few weeks ago and has only seen on official websites mention of it now. Just wondering how this might affect communications etc if flare knocks out sattelites?

This is ringing some bells Reikiangel - have you seen the post on the latest crop circle I shall try to find the link I read - I've got it - I think Caveman posted the link on the UFO thread. Here it is

It mentions the date 7th July and solar flare I believe.

Is the flare due on Tuesday or the effects to be felt then? Is there a link?
Oooo, I'll have to get my telescope out and have a look (with the Sun filter attached of course!!).

I would point out that if the predicting crop circle got it right, and if it was man-made, they were going on information we knew days ago anyway, then?
