I missed this when it was on, it seems. An Horizon programme on microbes from space and the mysterious organic 'red rain' in India. Anyone see it?

personly I think sand or pollen is the main cause of this. Last summerwehad a huge amount of pollen in the air. On space weathermaps you could see thepollen covered almost the entire europe. Myself I had to clean my balcony three times that spring. Due to yellow pollen coming from the sky. Never done that before.

A lot of people having breathing troubles as well.

RE: Microbes From Space

Thanks.

That is so typical of Forteana -- the article is from July, and it will take "three weeks" to analyse what was in the rain. So - where's the conclusion??

As a boy my local area in the Midlands had an intense rain including millions of small dead marine-like creatures. No idea what. They fell maybe one per square inch and were about half the length of your nail. 😮
