Are we talking about life as 'life' in the physical sense or life as spirit or soul? If we believe we each are a spirit within a physical body, how would the spirit be explained? This cannot be explained by x+y=spirit, and therefore required some ID behind it ie. GOD and cannot be explained by natural law - can it?

I agree and I guess that does come down to ID. My problem with ID is just the politics behind it - and also "their" concept of ID may not be mine.

I am sorry that you don't like my explanation Rosie, but you didn't offer any miracles of your own. As far as I am concerned, this is a scientific forum, and since evolution is nowa proven fact, I can't see how any other theory fits your question. I have outlined the way that life came about. What else do you want me to say? That it was an unexplained miracle? Well, it was a miracle, but not inexplicable.
If you have any knowledge of anything taking place outside of natural laws, I'd love to hear it.

No David, homo sapiens did not evolve quickly. They took their time, as every other life form on the planet did. I don't know if the writer of the book, which you reviewed ever read anything written by myself, but I have written extensively on HP, about the evolution of man. Man certainly didn't 'evolve quickly.'

It's a guess Patsy, a theory... and frankly no more compelling than "God started life on earth" (dependant on your point of view). Which it looks to me is what Rosie is or has been trying to say... coz if you had really "outlined the way life came about" - I think you'd have half the scientific world banging down your door even as we speak Patsy.
BTW, it also means that you have not shown in anyway that the event is governed by any natural "law"either soz...
SoI think you have to be honest and admit that she has more than fulfilled your request and met your challange 🙂
