No I didn't 'have a stab' at it, Roger. I don't have a blinking 'stab' at anything. I don't see anyone else coming up with anything remotely feasible about ID because there is nothing. Loads of taunts, but no evidence.
Why was this topic posted on a science forum in the first place?

Life on earth - ah! Yep, a miracle if one considers the apparent barren-ness of the Universe, but it evolved due to:The Earth's distance from the Sun.
The presence of volcanoes and lightening.
The presence of oxygen, carbon dioxide and hydrogen in the early atmosphere, which in turn, created water.
Amino acids.
The presence of the giant planet Jupiter.
A proven theory? The theory of evolution is no longer a theory. It's a proven fact that life evolved, and is still doing so. Life evolved within and according to the laws of nature. I think God did have a hand in it, but it wasn't done outside the natural laws.

I have to agree with you there Patsy. I don't know the details but I'm sure scientists have concluded that this is the basic building blocks of life, and how it needs to come about. It IS proven.

IMO you prove things in a lab, caveman. So you'd have to reproduce life in the lab. I know there have been attempts.
Well, then there is research-proof, such as researching history. But pre-history isn't history.
Life did change from one shape to another, but we really are finding strange things all the time. The so-called history of planet Earth is being revised yearly, it seems. So, as Roger says, how much do we KNOW? As in real knowledge, not just theory? Much though not all of evolution is IMO theory.
