RE: I Can Do Science, Me!

What a great thread!

When sharks are turned upside down they go into a state of tonic immobility, rendering them harmless!

Glass is not actually a true solid, it's amorphous (has no fixed form) and can be described as a very slow moving liquid.

The mammal Okapi has a tongue 14 inches long, and can lick any part of its body!

In the Jurassic Park films, some of the dinosaur noises were made by donkeys.

A ducks quack does produce an echo. The echo has a very similar wave, which makes it very difficult to tell the difference.

Orchas hunt blue whales which are 20times their size, which I believe is the highest ratio of predator to prey.
