Hi Giles, ReikiAngel and Black Crow (and you others who read, send healing, but do not write; )

It is such a comfort to have your support, all the good things you send our way are appreciated of course; but for me especially knowing you keep us in your mind and heart help me so very much. xxxooo thank you! J

Hi there Jen

I have only just caught up with your post & wish to send your brother and you much heartfelt love and light.

I lost my mother to cancer of the oesophagus in January - she was a confirmed drinker and it used to hurt so much to see what she was doing to her body - she was adamant though that she enjoyed the drink and would continue - in the end I had to tell her that if I came to visit & she was sober I would stay and if she wasn't I would leave, that we would not discuss her drinking further as it caused so many arguments - we didn't speak for 3 weeks once - and somehow we made it through - when she got her diagnosis in October, she kind of gave up - look I am really ill - and within 3 months she had gone - her last words to me though were 'I love you'.

I'm sorry to pour about a bit of my grief - but what makes your brother different if that he does accept he has a problem and he is seeking help for it. I think that your straight talking has really helped him to see what he has perhaps feared for a long time.

My blessings and thoughts are with you all, I hope that the radiation treatment is successful and that he goes on to get the help with his alcohol addiction that he needs.

I will keep him in my thoughts

Wispy x
