RE: the 6 month challenge

Given that he may end up making quite a lot of money out of this project after the year is over, I would hope that any profit that he and his family do make, that some of it goes to good causes.

RE: the 6 month challenge

We have just bought a pre used kicthen, cooker - fantastic cooker but sadly it is an electric oven and not gas as described - i am gutted because it is like new and as it is a range style it is large enough for me to cook a meal in and bake in for the whole family, so we will have to sell that ;-(

We bought a pre used camper earlier this year and i just got a juicer on freecycle - we tend not to buy very much new these days and always sell or freecycle what we don't want or give to schools for fairs and stuff.

We are going to buy pre used bedroom furniture as well as kicthen furniture - mainly because i like antique stuff but the pre used element is also important.

I also buy pre used books form a charity to sell on.

With a bit of thought you can get away without buying lots of new things, yep its easier and more convenient to just go and buy new but once you start on the buying used stuff it's all quite enjoyable - we love hunting for used stuff.

am i sad?:D

Well I am of the similar opinion. i also prefer to purchase a second hand thing if i get some thing in good and workable condition. It is good for all for me as it would come cheap and good for environment as if i would have purchased a new one another new one would had been made and that old one was gonna be a junk.
