No the very big Tesco doesn't do it either!

I will enquire in my local Tesco, we use loads of batteries so it is good to know how to recycle them.
We do have a battery charger and rechargables too but they don't seem to be holding their power for long enough and things like my camera seem to zap batteries, even duracels in a very short time.

Have you thought about contacting your local council's refuse department to see where you can take them? Our local 'dump' has recycling bins for almost everything!
