RE: The Shining ones and 2012

Hi Spongebob

I just wanted to confirm what Amber has already written. There was a post awaiting approval which we were aware off, I was drafting my response before this post was approved for all to see so that they could go up at more or less the same time. I always use the post reply window and as yours was the last reply that was open on the forum is why it has your name next to it. My post was not directed at one particular individual but to the contributers on this thread.

I hope that explains any confusion and the topic can resume once more...if you have any queries please let me know.

It is interesting to note how we can get behind the label of a religion. and then see others as separate and different from ourselves - whereas we are all truly the same. The word religion comes from the latin 'Religare' meaning to bind - which means not thinking for oneself (so much) and subscribing to a set of rules made up by people struggling to survive in adverse circumstances 1000 - 2000 years ago. I feel it is pertinent that we are leaving the age of Pisces ( follow my leader ) and entering the Aquarian age, where self responsibility comes to the fore.

Is it 'religions' which have to balance their karma? no. it is each of us as individuals who have to weigh ourselves in the balance when the time comes. I find it interesting that the ancient Egyptians had a greater understanding of this process than we seem to have now.

I once saw a calculation of how many hundreds or thousands of millions of people had died through history in the name of religion.......such an inditement of our collective failure. I am still personally saddened by the Cathar Crusades as an example of a papal approved pogrom, and that was over 800 years ago.....ho hum!

Talking of Latin, I don't know if spongebob nopants would lie to us, but anyone who calls me baby and sweetheart can't be all bad! however, given the name, I wonder whether the signature should be changed to Braccæ tuæ aprinuntur ?

Exactly what I was eluding to when I cited the killings ordered by the Vatican, a very sad episode indeed... I always wonder how the men sent to do the job felt (given their beliefs?)

jeepers! there's me thinking that was a tie [sm=nuts.gif]

I was on the top of Queribus in the Languedoc last Autumn, surveying the Pyrenees in the distance, and thinking 800 years is such a brief moment in time. amazing experience for a reincarnated Cathar, but it did lay a few ghosts.....
