Alas, it was ever thus! I really don't think there is more 'evil' in the world nowadays, simply that with new t echnology we can all find out what's going on in the world at the click of a button.
Also I believe you are sweeping a few things under the carpet eg the Spanish/Portuguese Inquisition, and the iniquities of the (Catholic) IRA in Northern Ireland. But I would broaden that to mention that just about every world religion has episodes in its past which call for nothing b ut shame.
I would also disagree that God is going to punish the wicked and cast them into ultimate darkness. You see, in my view,God is God of love and indeed loves each and everyone of His weak and imperfect creations. When I joined HP I remember posting on a thread that even Hitler went to Heaven and what a furore that statement caused. But I do recommend that you read the Conversations with God books by Neale Donald Walsch, which is where this idea comes from

Your post says “guys” but it also says that it is a reply to me (and I take it that was the intention as the timing of the post does not seem close to that of moralman’s reply to me).
So my question is “where is there in my post a defamatory accusation Tigerbee?”

I have read the Quoran and I try to respect other people religions.
However if we are looking at the situation of the New World moving on from religion then we cannot just state that Church Christianity is only guilty of religious crimes and must pay its "karmic" debt.
If that is the case then the same rule applies to Islam.
If indeed the rule exists (and lets assume that it does), then yes it would apply not only to Christianity or Islam, but all mankind surely (I take it that is your point) negating the need to single out any specifics.

Look at the treatment of women in Christian countries in Africa for one, with regards to terrorism and intolerance - Do you not consider the Invasion, subjugation and forced conversion to Christianity throughout land masses on the globe over the last 2000 years as terrorism and intolerance?
Moreover, confusing Islamic nations with Islam... Is the same as confusing Christian nations with Christianity for example Nazi Germany was a Christian nation upholding what it purported to be a Christian ideal, America was a Christian nation when it dropped atomic weapons on the Japanese, white South Africa was zealously Christian while imposing its will on Blacks the list is endless and the numbers of dead phenomenal, especially if we also count in the those that were slaughtered at the express orders of the Vatican (including women and children).

Indeed the first point that you made was absolutely correct.
Every person and ideology is going to be judged on their credibility.
In my view the righteous Souls will be resurrected into the Lightbody and the evil doers and false ideologies will die out.
I personally don't believe that the Catholic Church or Catholic Church will die out after 2012 or when the changes occur.
Yes the Catholic Church under various Popes has commited certain wrongs but the Church has always upheld sound doctrine, has apologised for the wrongs and is an advancing religion in terms of modernisation.........which cannot be said for Islam.
Are you putting the Christian crusades on the Church's list of "guilt"?
The Africans and other nationalities are not persecuted because they are not Christian they are persecuted because they are Christian.
Alot of allegations made against the Church is false propaganda.
Christianity might be the state religion in certain countries but how many people in Christian countries follow Christian teachings?
Western society is weakened because it doesn't adhere to Christian teachings whilst Muslim countries are weakened because they follow their religion fanatically.
Christianity isn't forced upon people in its own states.........its offered and is rejected especially in the EU where Moral discernment is needed.
I have read the Quoran and I have seen with my own eyes the way that Muslims live in this country plus I have spoken to people who have lived/worked in Muslim countries like Afghanistan and North Africa and they have described the awful things that happen in these countries.
Righteous people are those who do Gods will by following the 10 commandments, living good and Moral lives and their Higher self.
It is people like this that will advance into the New World and that opportunity is open to good Muslims too.
