Was just wondering whether to post this here or on 'The Others' thread. It's 50/50 so I decided here. I actually hadn't read that thread and even now only speed-read it as it isn't really my 'thing' but I do get the gist.
What seems pretty glaring to me, glaringly obvious, is that people are writing about several quite different things which is a recipe for confusion. 'Others' - LOL, yes I thought it was about a recent movie too :D, and now that I see it isn't, the choice or words is perhaps a bit unfortunate as it sounds so unneccessarily sinister. But everyone has a right to speak what's on their heart and I sure don't critique anyone for starting that thread or continuing it. That's freedom at work.
It sounds as if Willow kicks the thread off talking about what I term 'entities'. These are thought-forms which tend to take on a life of their own. But then other notions come in and frankly I got confused. Hugo seems to be talking about the physical power elite, or something beyond or embodying them (?), and while I know well of the power elite(s), that's a different topic.
Overall I have to say that I disagree with the air of mystery (for there is no mystery) posted there, and also the concept that 'it is getting worse' or 'they are building up to some breakthrough' (my words but the tone I got) just don't sit with me. If the subject is thoughtforms, or power elites, or discarnates, or whatever, they are all IMHO a simple fact of life and have always been so. Nothing at all has changed and nothing is different. It reminds me of the way people get fixated upon 'dates' that are looming. I take none of this seriously, sorry.
And I do see where Sharon is coming from in starting this thread. She was pointing out that it's kinda like teens getting together and turning off the lights in order to spook each other. So, quoting from that thread, you end up with people genuinely spooked:

...etc.
I just don't resonate with any of that as being a reality at all.

My post was meant to be tongue in cheek humour, but if you feel that is disrespectful then i appologise as that was not my intention. But again it all comes down to interpretation. I do actually find the thread interesting, but also funny, i do not agree that it is disrespectful to laugh with others and maybe if more people took life less serioulsy we would all live in the rose coloured specs i want to live in!
Maybe you are right on my own ego front, for i do not receive messages from a higher realm and maybe thats whats missing?
i do get negative feelings about lots of things depending on my mood emotions and lots of other things, but they do not come in the form of Others, so maybe the loss is mine, although im quite happy with it.
The thread did read to me, to say something and nothing, if you are going to tell me a story dont leave blanks for me to fill in with my over active imagination, but again thats interpretation.
The serious side to all this and the lighter note i wanted to put in, was for the very vulnerable people that read these sites and will have been genuinly spooked by what was written.
As was mentioned with the teenager scenario, some people need to be aware there may be a different outlook to the Others, that i will term as GET A GRIP!!!
I am sure had i genuinly experinced what some say they have i would be typing something completely different, and those people that do experience these Others i am sure are true in what they say and genuine with their feeling and thoughts.
But as i am blissfully unaware and am still unenlighted from their experiences, until my own experience changes i will continue tongue in cheek.

Hi all,
have been reading through my post again, and maybe it reads a little too harsh. So in advance of any complaints, just wanted to re iterate.
This is by no means a personal attack on peoples own experiences and i am in no way trying to invalidate what people have experienced.
I neither believe nor dis believe, but i have never experienced, and until i have i shall remain skeptical.
I do believe however, it is my duty to present a different view for more vulnerable people who could get swept up in the emotion of it all.

We are obviously chalk and cheese on this so what more can I say? I only ever posted this thread as 'chalks' versions of things as I believe there are two sides to every tale.

I also agree with what others (people, that is ;)) have said: Willowtree was fine starting that thread
it was me who botched it - no one else.
edit: this section has been removed since it served its purpose.
best wishes to you all - i feel much better for having sharing this now since i hope you can see why i have danced around the topic of the activity of the others.....

I have nothing to comment on your post and i feel no comment is needed from me.
But i do thankyou for listening to what i was trying to say. Which was if you have something to say, say it if not dont dangle a carrot.
Good honest open communication i understand, may not agree, but then i dont have too.
