RE: Should mediums/readers charge a fee?
To go back to the original question, and to echo the general concensus...
Artists get paid shen they sell their paintings and share them with the rest of the world,
Musicians get paid when you go to a concert,
So why shouldn't readers charge a fee as they share their own creative gifts with the world?
(as long as it's done with the utmost compassion and integrity!)
RE: Should mediums/readers charge a fee?
hi everyone
you know what, i probably didnt think that hard about the statement that i made, the service that so many of you provide isnt a production line, and a £40.00 sitting may be the only one for that day etc etc.
i give so much of my time voluntarily with supporting those with addiction, survivers of abuse, benefits bla bla, but if i had no full time income i would need to charge a rate for my service, purely to survive, and do you know what; people do charge over £50 a session.
please accept my appologies for a point of view which had no substance and very badly put across.
love to you all

RE: Should mediums/readers charge a fee?
Hi all
I personally dont see a problem with charging, if it is supporting the medium to continue to serve spirit, (for example, to enable them to do it full time, rather than rely on regular work)
As long as it isnt as many have mentioned a hefty and unfair amount.
I also think we should not charge until we are good enough to garauntee good readings, and under no circumstances do i believe charging for healing is ok.
Healing should be available to all, and should be free.Sadly i have seen some charge for healing and i`m afraid i am agaisnt this.no offense meant to anyone here who might, its just my view

Yes Bling, spiritual healing should be free.

i'm not against it...it's the same wtih the tarot or any other type of spiritual advice..."healers" have to live as well. Healing should be available and accessible, but I know many who are more than willing to make exceptions for people who are having financial difficulties...
