Another thread could be "Sacred Sites Unvisited" - sites we would love to see and haven't. Personally, I have never been to Central or South America and all the sites there.

Well I haven't been to hardly any of these. Even Virginia Water which is just down the road.

Hi all,
there are lots of places I could mention,both home and abroad... but I have to say one of the most thought provoking places i've visited is Ephesus ( in turkey near the ancient wonder Artemis) Not just in a spiritual way but I found it absolutely mind blowing when you think just how old it is and how many others have walked there before you! I also found the chapel of the virgin mary quite moving, which is also nearby.
