IMHO it is horribly elitist to even consider anyone has any more 'skills' in this area than any other human being. Surely this kind of thought process and attitude is what we are working away from? It smacks of Dogma and the Hierarchy of Priests;)
Somehow I know without knowing, that whatever God is, cannot, and would never disseminate between any of His beings. A rose is a rose is a rose:D one rose is equal to another, it may be attacked by fungus, covered with greenfly, and browning at the edges, but is no less 'loved' by its Creator.

Very true Gillyann some just have more light than others and some are just more more awake. Hence the word for resurrect in Greek means 'awake'. And from scripture.

Let there BE love.
All are Roses however, some are closed buds in fear of opening to the fullness of GOD creation. The Sacred Union with the Divine article explains it well. Some buds never open as AM said "some win the game of life and some remain lame" to come back to do it another lifetime another way. That does not mean they are less perfect in Gods eyes for all is chosen by free will and honoured as such. One does not need to be known as a light worker to spread love and light. Every nurse, doctor, humanitarian, charity worker etc etc are doing it in their own god inspired way, compelled by GODs love and will-to-good into compassionate action. Whether they realise it or not does not matter - what matters most of all is that they are Being Love.
Some find the light of God within and sadly some do not. I had a very interesting conversation with a retired clergyman last night and he was disappointed that after 40 years at the pulpit his congregation had not changed or seen the light he asked me why? So even clergyman find it hard to find and bring the light to others. 😉
It was wonderful that he could not disagree with anything that I said, it is sad he still does not know what divine love is and he is still searching for love and happiness outside of himself. Still in desire and so it is, Jesus tried to teach us that one cannot teach what one has not learnt and that a blind master leads others into the pit. 😀
I love the Sufi saying 'I was looking for the self and I found God and when I found God I found the self.
Seek and you shall find means to look within not outside of self for the light. For in each man the light of the spirit of God can be found as we know.

Oh Wow what a lot I got , everyone has things to say that I agree with & thats i disagree with it. I guess it boils down to that old chestnut of perception.
I certainly dont feel i'm any more special than anyone else , just my job , mission is different so I have different tools to do it with , or is it I have the same tools but use them differently. I see everyone as having their gift there talent , their place , their mission here on earth & each as important as everyone elses. I'm being shown an image of people , young & old alike standing before a huge blank canvas, each of us with a pot of paint & a brush all painting our picture in our part of the cvanvas, the colours do join anothers colours & with out being aware we paint the most beautiful picture each bit of the pictures blending in & following on from each others.Each individul paint splat each feather or bottle top each different medium being used to make this picture no more important to another, just different because its whats needed to producve this beautiful picture of life.

Every light workerand every individual is just one piece of the most amazing jigsaw and for those that view it differently I am sure that they will work it out in their own time and space. 😉

Where did the term originate? Who first wrote it or said it?
.... and this is what i was thinking while reading all your lovely posts, i wonder who first thought of this name [sm=scratchchin.gif] I agree with a lot that has been said here, we are all equal in the eyes of God and are all born with that divine spark, it's what we do with it that counts. 😉
