RE: Bad past life regression experience?

Dear V

What you speak of is regression not past life healing, the healing process itself can take one hour or so and this follows the regression. I had one client in Australia and the whole session took five hours, very tiring for the therapist not being able to leave the client for a drink of water or toilet LOL.

Past Life Healing is very different modality to regression and there isn't many trained past life healers in the UK. Past Life Healing was originally pioneered by Diane Park and she had worked with the top international specialists like Denise Linn, Roger Woolger etc but she discovered while working with them that they all had something missing and so from her life work, research and dedication to past life work she developed past life healing.

False memory syndrome - I have never met any other past life healers that have encountered this problem in fact we have managed to trace some amazing lives e.g the Titanic but the past life itself is only the catalyst to find the roots of what is required to be healed so the healing can take place. The past life healing therapy that I am involved with works solely with the spirit realms so it is spirit that brings the appropriate past life that requires healing and we trust divine mother to bring the client exactly the life that is blocking them in the here and now as requested. Yes one can experience a past life of a relative that died in recent years, the soul incarnates in more then one phyiscal reality in my experience.

Yes this work can also be done remotely and past lives often come up in soul retrieval work, but the client needs to be very evolved spritually to encounter this experience remotely.

Past Life Healing is an esoteric healing art and as such is far beyond the scientific literalist approach.

Its a pity that you have not experienced the real thing.

being love

RE: Bad past life regression experience?

About 20 odd years ago, I learned regression from my spiritual teacher at that time, Carol Ann Dryer. I usually try to regress boyfriends to see where we've met before. There is a simple exercise to teach a client to distinguish between memory and imagination. You do it over and over until they can distinguish between the two realities.

Since I always seem to wind up with PhD atheists, how can I counter the argument that reincarnation is bollocks because there are more people on the planet now than ever? Maths is not my strong suit!

Ah, that old chesnut....

Consider this then.... it's a simple theory and it answers the question...

The universe consists of many spirits being incarnated/re-incarnated. As more and more human bodies are created through population growth, then there are more and more "hosts" for the spirits to belong in. Where there aren't enough human bodies, the spirits can simply (re-)incarnate into the body of another animal or entity on this planet or elsewhere in the universe.

So it doesn't matter that there is an ever growing population, this doesn't disprove re-incarnation.

That's a brief answer that you can use. My own beliefs are still adapting and are a little more complex than that written here so it'd take me a little bit too long to write it all down, but the above should be enough for you. And here's me, a very logical and scientific thinker. I'm just glad I can think outside the box as it were.

RE: Bad past life regression experience?

There are now six billion people alive (incarnated) on earth. Since somewhere around 1900 Theosophy, and also similar, later associated movements, have stated that there is a definite number of 'souls' associated with this planet. That number is nine billion. According to this view, basically nobody reincarnates here from elsewhere, and we do not incarnate elsewhere as a rule. So we are nine billion.

The way this would work out is that until about a century ago, since much fewer were incarnated, the time we spent out of incarnation tended to be much longer - many decades or longer. The rationale about why there are so many incarnate now - the 'population explosion - makes sense really. We incarnate to learn and progress, and let's face it, things on earth have never moved this fast in history. There's an awful lot to experience, we are all re-meeting to hopefully balance karma, and there's much to learn. So from all kinds of esoteric and New Age sources you tend to hear that now is a period when almost everyone wants to incarnate.

Assuming the Theosophical model is true, there are now more people incarnate than between lives and we presently reincarnate quickly. But if the model is true, population growth will not continue. There's no need for any disaster to stop the growth - various forces, benign or otherwise are all coming into play already, such as a drop in fertility in the West, draconian one-child-only restrictions in China, and a trend toward smaller - or no -families (my grandfather was one of fifteen children, almost unheard of today).

So whether we accept it or not, the Theosophical model explains one way how the population can have grown, though it wouldn't explain it if the population of the planet gets to 8-9 billion or more.

But if your boyfriends are atheist, they are hardly going to accept anything anyhow, debate as you might till blue in the face... 😀

Edit to add: in this view we don't reincarnate as animals, rather that's viewed as a Hindu superstition.

Nice one, Giles. May I add my own theory - that since our spirits can split up into uncounted facets in order to experience limitless choices, it's a simple matter for us to add even more facets should there be a population explosion. 😀
