RE: Adult Bullies and why they do it???

I am one of the group who has experienced bullying at work too. To make matters worse, in my case it was an all female staff with a female boss. I do wish to mention that I was not the only one; there was one other victim who I was quite friendly with and she also received the short end many times. I was single at the time, and the girl I was friends with was a divorcee. The workplace was a retail environment, and I eventually tossed in the towel -- I left and told my boss I was looking for different type of employment. If anything good came out of the situation, it was that our head office closed down this one retail branch, thrusting the other employees out of work too.
Then, half a year ago I had another experience which involved gossip about me by another person, also female. It did cause me hurt but I was also wise to immediately disassociate myself with this person, having no further contact with her.
I don't know if this will help or not, but in my dealings with people, I have learned to never, ever, ever tell anyone anything about myself that I would not want to be repeated.

People do indeed repeat what they hear, whether they do it consciously or not.

There is a Persian proverb that says:

Conceal thy gold, thy destination, they creed.

I admit at times I need to work on following what I believe in. 🙂

hi vortex i was bullied as a child i didnt speak the same and was very small i turned when i was about 14 became totally antisocial [uncontrollable] i vowed i would pay everyone of them back i left school at 16 i was 5' 2" tall i went in the army when i was 18 and came out 5'10" i have bumped into some of the bullies since and realised they were just petty small minded people who didnt like what they saw in the mirror so took it out on the different people yet these same people advance in jobs then fear anyone who works hard,or just to them is different i have worked my way up from catering assistant to head chef over the last 14 years and learnt it is a lot easier to ask people and earn respect than tell people and earn enmity i could of quite easily beaten the bullies i met later in life to a pulp. but wouldnt that just have made me as bad as them i pity them and wonder what in there life makes them need to be a bully they are lacking something

Unmet needs in childhood a need to compete, control and dominate we see it a lot on forums as well as in other realities. Insecurity and inferior/superiority complexes.

Sadly we find it everywhere, people taking others energy and people allowing others to take their power away.

Love beyond measure for the bullies for they know not what they do.

However, the more the dark shadows draw close to you the larger your Christ Light becomes. Every negative situation is a an opportunity for positive change when you see all through the eyes of the supreme love of God.

being love

EDIT: PS Also good to remember that your own energy has attacted the bully for your own growth and healing process, so the quicker one heals the more one transcends 3D reality and breaks the karmic bonds.

RE: Adult Bullies and why they do it???

Today was the first time that I have read this thread and it really makes me think. I can relate as a child as beings small and alone and relate to so many of the issues shared by a lot of people but I can't say I was ever bullied. I then wondered if I had been a bully but no. Not that bold and never ran with a pack. I observed it and though I was not one to confront the bully or intervene, I was the one that picked up the pieces and made a new friend. I was an observer. It reminds me of when animals will pick on the runt and kill him off. As an adult I remember very vividly when my brother in law who always picked women to bully tried to bully me when he was in a drunken fit. Raised in a family where all of my uncles were drunks and fighters, I must have that same spirit but just don't use it much. I just stood there, feet planted firmly in the ground and let him know that he could not push me around and really never said a word. When he was finished, like an old marm, I told him if he was done that he needed to get his xxx to bed. He turned around and went to bed. I think that it is a matter of grounding. I was not sensitive to psychic energy as a child. I had a wall that I had to take down. It did not leave in much nor did it allow anything out. I think the bullies sense when you are by nature a very sensitive individual. , that you can't turn it off but are like a sponge that just soaks it all in. Why do they do it? Animal instinct, survival of the fittest! Non evolved individuals. I know we like to think that everyone has a beautiful soul but I think that we all have a dark side but that as we grow, we move from a negative energy into a positive energy. If science is correct and energy cannot be created or destroyed only transformed, there will be those who's ratio of negative energy will be 10 times thier positive energy. It is only natural. They will not stay that way forever and it does not give them less value but hopefully, we have all done our time there and need not return. As they say, darkness is drawn to the light and those who as children were beacons for the bullies even then did your lights shine brightly.
