RE: Adult Bullies and why they do it???

Wow this is an interesting topic. I've been bullied in several jobs over the years and have walked out of them all in the end. At least you can do that, it's much harder to walk out of school when you're a child 😀
I'm curious as to what constitutes bullying in a relationship. It has crossed my mind that my ex bullied me cos she knew I would do anything for her. I bought her things because she asked for them, but never got anything in return. If I ever asked an innocent question, I would often get shouted at until on one occasion I was reduced to tears.
I've always assumed these people don't know what they're doing, perhaps they've been bullied themselves and have just taken it on as the norm?
I'd be interested in what others think.

Dear Green

It seems this is your lesson, to confront and handle these things head on as Life throws many lesons for us to learn from Until we do
And they get harder and harder

I was bullied a lot of years till I got to university till I said that enough
Love
Ithar:)

I'm sorry to hear about your former girl, Green. One term I have occasionally heard used to describe such bullying is "psychic blackmail." One book that I have read about it, its actual title is "How to Prevent Psychic Blackmail" by Leo Louis Martello. It's a book I recommend to anyone who has had this type of experience.

Regarding the actual bullies, I believe they are conscious of what they are doing. JMO.
