I'm wondering about the hooligan bit.

It's a symbol of loss of control. When a dream takes us out of comfort zone it will being in the things that trigger the emotion that's being represented.

So a dream that's about your control anxieties will have elements that trigger that fear, i.e. the interaction of hooligans with your loved ones.

HTH,
Myarka.

My interpretation of this dream is: eating cheese too late in the evening!

I used to eat cheese deliberately before bed when I was a teenager. I had lots of dreams all about the same thing, living in a very small village near farmland. It was always about what my friends and I were doing each day. I used to keep a notepad by my bed and whenever I woke up during the night, I'd write down what that night's dreams were. My intention was to write a book one day based on this. Unfortunately, it disappeared when I got married. Think I must have left it when I moved out.
