O.k, I have been bleeding for the last year during sex, the annoying thing is, it doesn't happen every time. I may have sex tonight, it may happen, i may have sex tomorrow night, it may not.Its not blood you get when i have my period, its more watery and pink-ish red. I have been with the same partener for the last year and a half, we have both had chlymidia, but cured it. I am sick of getting smears and have to wait because they are all coming back clear...My doc wouldnt even refer me to a specialist, she says wait for the results of my last smear. Meanwhile i sit here and worry about all the possibilities :(and to say the least sometimes theres alot and its a passion killer. Ive never had this before and i dont want to have problems down the line when want to have kids, and i definitely dont want someone to turn around when i do and tell me it should have been dealt with years ago.The doc said if my tests come back clear to ask for a D&C, i dont like the sound of that, i havent had a miscarriage, a baby and i'm only 26 and i havent had the monpause. :banghead:Can anyone shed some light or at least let me know i'm not alone.....?
Hi Lisa
I had a similar problem over 12 years ago and was referred to the hospital straight away. My cervix was cauterised (frozen) and I've never had the same problem since. It's a very simple, painless procedure.
I understand how anxious you must be feeling but do try not to worry too much. You are in the process of getting it sorted out and hopefully your GP may refer you once these latest results have come back. xxx
It may be worth asking for a referral to a gynaecologist. I had similar problems when I was first married 30+ years ago, and was very frightened. My doc couldn't find any reason for the bleeding and smears proved pointless, but the gynae said that I had a couple of small polyps on the wall of the vagina, that were irritated enough to bleed when we had sex. He removed them by freezing them, and then I was problem-free. Get someone who is specialised in these things - GP's are the first port of call.
thanks you two,
I have been to see the gynae and al theyv done so far over the last 6 mths is smaers.i guess im really worried if they start poking about that they'll do damage, my sister already has trouble conceiving, she had polyps too but my mum was fine.Im usually good with everything else female, you just like to think that your body is working right eh!i hope whatever comes, it isint too severe, i hate hospitals!
at last!
finally, i'm having an ultrasound next month and they will probably do the cauterising, which i self-diagnosed, whats new!Im afraid of being knocked out though, but if that stops it, its worth it!I woder how long i have to stay off sex after?lol!
I had the same thing many years ago now and it turned out to be a rather large cervical polyp. I was pregnant at the time and the doctor said I should wait until after the baby came. Well after the delivery I went for that six week check up and the darn thing had disappeared. Apparently the blood supply had been cut off. Thank the Lord as I really wasn't looking forward to the removal process. Also remember to use plenty of lubrication having whoopee, that could also be the cause. Good Luck.:)
Well now!
Well now you know maybe it was something like that cos i havent had any bleeding since march, thank god or whoever and i even went for a scan and nothing!Lets hope it never comes back!
That is good news, Lisa!
For it to never come back there can be acu massage according to
the scheme:
Darkness--->Heat: Heat sedate, Dryness tone up
however to be done by sessions, not an everyday treatment.
alks - I know you are based somewhere in Europe, so English may not be your first language, but I continue to be confused by your posts - where are and how should she treat the points that you mention above?
What exactly wrong with English?
I hasn't determined the set of points in above,
and given any treatment description and schedule
so far (hasn't been asked to).
