This was an interesting and thought-provoking programme on Channel 4 yesterday about women choosing to have cosmetic surgery on their genitals, the causes and implications etc - I don't generally watch TV but caught it online today and was rather gripped (I especially liked the presenter's participative style!) - you can watch it here:
Perhaps I should warn people that the programme is not for the faint-hearted (and is not deemed suitable for under 18s)!

i wathced the program....I wasn't too sure if the girl that did it was right for the job though....but it was interesting and some of it was hard to watch... my friend rang me afterwards to see if I had seen it....she said now she had the chance to talk about her vagina which she always felt she could bring up before....so if it gets people talking openly then i think the program was a success.
i watched the programme last night, and i still don't know what to make of the sculptor ( this may come across as sexist but i would have understood it more if it had been a woman), or the therapist/healer who referred to vaginas as yomi.
Warmest wishes- calla lily x
I watched this last night, or should I add my hubby had it on when I got out the shower. It was pretty informative, but it wouldn't be a surgery I would ever consider, even if I had too. I had episiotomy after my children and the stitches were painful enough without having to go through what these women were putting themselves through.
The guy who did the moulds, my hubby's comment, "Some people just have the best jobs don't they!"

watched it too. very interesting. i was not pleased by the builders saying they like them to be "perfect" for resons and i agree with the presenter felt like telling them to take their genitals out for her to say oh they are ugly!
the moulder mmm maybe he likes to do this as a job.like a gynacologists think nothing of vaginas when they do a internal examination etc. hope next one moulds on penises to be fair!!

i think that the molds were good so that people could see that they arent so different after all. it was a very intresting programe. the builders where abit rude but i supose some men are like that.
xx
I saw some of that show.....OUCH!
Why anyone would want to mess with down there, I don't know? But anyway each to their own. I guess you have to really want it done to go ahead with it, as it looked very painful!
