can anyone offer advice. When having sex I am very very dry, is their a pessary anyone could recommend. or something else. thanks
Hi Roza,
Have you tried some KY jelly or similar? I find that helpful if things get a bit dry after a little while. You can get in supermarkets or boots etc.
Hope it helps
xx
Your doctors practice nurse should be able to give you samples of various stuff to try. From experience, pessaries are very messy! KY doesn't last very long (if you lucky!!!) but there are a couple of other forms of lub on the market - but try some samples first. Family planning clinics may be able to supply too.

I read on a hair forum, that KY gel, makes a great hair taming lotion especially if you have frizzy or flyaway hair.
I told my friend about this, her reply nearly had me choking....

A patient of mine mentioned she had dryness 😮 which she thought was probably to do with the dreaded menopause (she's mid 50's). Well she had a course of six reflexology treatments and then onto monthly sessions but this wasn't helping this particular problem. At some point in the following few months or so I read somewhere that natural phyto-estrogens that you get from soya, broad beans and similar foods would help this problem. Apparently it can be the animal estrogens causing the problem. Mentioned it to my patient who decided to go on a dairy free diet, plenty of veg containing said phyto-estrogens and whey hey bingo everything back to normal 🙂

Just had a quick look on the 'Boots' website and there are gels on there called 'senselle' and 'replense' which are specifically designed for this problem and are available on line.
