RE: contraceptive injection???

Anyone considering the Depo jab should check out this web address. http://www.abcinternetmarketing.com/depo-provera/

I was on depo before I had kids for about 5 years and it worked well, with no noticeable side effect. However, after having the kids it caused constant bleeding, lethargy and flat emotions.

Depo is useful if you can't take oestrogen, as is the mini pill. The coil has also be mentioned, but may not be suitable if you get painful, heavy periods.

RE: contraceptive injection???

I would warn anyone away from the Depo injection. I was on this for a year and experienced migranes, headaches, MAJOR weight gain, & back pain. I have now been off it for 6 months and my periods still have not returned and am still experiencing migranes on a regular basis. They say it can take anywhere from 6months to 2 years for the effects to leave your body. I would stay away.
