Hi,
My boss is having a really hard time at the moment. To be honest I think he's heading for a nervous breakdown. I know he's having counselling and has some issues going back to his childhood. He is drinking heavily but certainly isn't admitting to anyone that he has a problem even though there have been days when he is rolling drunk at 10am. He has always been such a fun loving person and I have watched over the last year, him really struggling with life.
His GF is seriously worried about him, but I'm not sure she'll be able to support him emotionally forever. She needs some emotional support herself!
I work for him (he's also a friend of 10 years) and his business partner, he asked me not to go into the office today, so I'm working from home, as is the other boss.
Aside from the practical side that if he does crack up, I will have no job (the other boss could not survive without his input), I am very worried about him. His GF asked me to go looking for him the other day at work because she told me that he had sent her suicidal e-mails and texts. He admitted to me once that he had been having suicidal thoughts.
His kitten went mising on Tuesday and I think this has been the last straw for him - he was putting a lot of love into that cat and now it's gone and he doesn't know what's happened to it. His mother has been in hospital and is very 'needy' towards him, his brother comes to him with all his marital problems and his GF's mother is about to have a heart bypass operation.
I just want to send him an e-mail with some positive comments to let him know that there are other people thinking of him and to try to make him feel a bit more positive. Any ideas on something suitable?

Hi Jade,
Your friend really sounds like he needs some help, I will be thinking of him and sending love.
He obviously needs lots of support and an email letting him know how you are thinking of him and how you appreciate your friendship may be a start.
Has he visited a doctor, is this something that maybe you could help him with.
Very difficult I know but remember that the most you can be for him at the moment is a friend, try not to feel guilty for what you can't help.

RE: Ideas please
I do not know how involved you are with your boss, but it is safe to say you do been connected. I would say youneed to cut back so you do not get frained and ill yourself!
Then when you have become impartial then you will be at a distance where you can see where you can help and where you can not. Simply send healing to them and sent it to their higher selves,m the higher self will then take the decision if it is needed. If not it will be sent to some one or somthing that does
I hope this helps
Love

Dear Jade321,
It sounds like your boss is at a critical stage in his life. If he is speaking about suicide and drinking you might want to consider telling his girlfriend to seek an intervention counselor and find out what his options are for professional help.
There are many people who can help him, who are very informed about what he's going through. It will also enable you to detatch and not feel responsible for his safety.
Take good care of yourself!
