RE: Can anyone help...
If you are putting tea tree on it I would soak it for about twenty minutes in salted warm water first to make sure the skin's nice and soft and takes in the oil. Lemon oil is also supposed to be good. I cheated myself and used Bazuka gel.

Against verruca's: GARLIC! Take a garlic clove, slice it and stick the slice with a plaster over the verruca. Do this before going to bed and keep it on overnight.
Thyme is a good essential oil agaisnt verrucas. Even better is a plant called Thuya occidentalis by its Latin name (sorry, don't know the English name). A few drops of th eil on th everruca several times a day and it goes in no time. And unlike surgical removal, they tend not to grow back.

RE: Can anyone help...
I was always told that a verruca was an ingrowing corn, that is a corn with its roots on the outside. however both are extremely painful but apart from what has already been suggested I cant think of anything else. My daughter had one and we used something we got from the chemist - but it takes a long time to get rid of them.

Hi guys
Well I saw the nurse this morning & she's uncertain as to what it is...although she did say she didn't think it was a verruca, she was inclinded to think that maybe I had got something in my foot...which has now dislodged itself (well spoted reikiangel), and suggested I carried on with the teatree oil as it seemed to be doing the trick.
Thanks for the Garlic tip Artemis...don't think i'll try it though...I'm allergic to garlic[&:]

RE: Can anyone help...
I have suffered with corns on the ball of my left foot (and occasionally on the right) for years and yes they are very painful and ache after standing any length of time. In recent years I have not bothered mucking about them myself but gone straight to the chiropodist who cuts them out. Instant relief and costs about £7. I have never been told mine are veruccas though and would be really interested to know if your tea tree and lemon remedy works.
RE: Can anyone help...
The by all means avoid the garlic! You may want to up the Tea-tree oil? I think you could safely go up to 3-5 drops a day. Unless you know tht one drop is YOUR limit?
