Oh, me too Clareyangel.:016:
I have spent a fortune on pillows and they keep ending up in the loft! I bought one of those memory pillows last year, not sure what brand but it cost me £40:eek: and it's awful.

It's really hard but sinks down with the weight of your head - nice, except every time you turn over you hit a solid bit again and have to wait for it to mould to you again. As I turn over a lot during the night it's most uncomfortable. Each time you move it's like putting your head onto a brick!:banghead:

Hi,

I've had trouble sleeping for years. Have tried various memory foam pillows which were the cheaper variety with no results. Now I have paid loads (£80) for one of the expensive (you know the ones..begins with T) and its WONDERFUL! Sleeping much better now. Got the traditional one, not the shaped one.

The cheaper ones do go flat as they aren't such dense foam. You get what you pay for really.

Hi Mog, Mine didn't go flat, just the opposite, it's like a brick. Tho' I suppose I didn't use it long enough to go flat.
Begin with T ???

Hi Treacle,

Sorry to confuse you!:o I said it began with 'T' because I wasn't sure whether I could state the name on the forum. Tempur.

Yes, it is firm, but as your body heat transfers it moulds beautifully to your shape. It needs to be firm to support you. I want the mattress now! They are soooo expensive so I will have to start saving!

BTW my pillow is not the shaped one, it looks like an ordinary pillow and I can cuddle up with it in the same way as an ordinary pillow. I didn't get on with the shaped one. It felt like a brick!! It was a cheaper one though.

I havent actually had any go flat but I felt the cheaper pillows did not support me as well as the Tempur pillow. Like I said before, you get what you pay for.

Maggie xx

Hi Treacle and claryangel,

You could try pocket sprung pillows like this:

If memory foam does not suit, the pocket sprung one may suit better.

Regards.
