Twice when I have givena friend an holistic massage, after doing her feet she has mentioned seeing black floating spots in her eyes when shut. It has cleared by the time I have finished the massage, about another 20 minutes. Do you have any ideas what could possibly be causing this?

Posting only from experience of others I've known, and not with any kind of medical authority, one possibility could be detached retina, which requires urgent medical attention, or floaters, which I understand are less serious.
Perhaps this client should be referred to her GP for a check up, just to be on the safe side. The GP may refer on to an optometrist or to an out-patients clinic at the hospital.
Other members here may, of course, have other suggestions to offer.
