Wow, you've dug out an old thread here from 2003. I don't think Big Paul H is a regular visitor to HP (was last here in 2003) so I don't think he'll be responding to you. However, the question you ask is interesting and I'm sure will make for interesting discussion.

I guess my question to you would be, what sort of "healer" are you thinking of?

I personally think that some forms of therapy (healing?) will work better than others for a condition such as IBS. e.g. if you look at the EFT website and search on IBS, () then you can see that EFT has been used to help with it. I'm sure other therapies can also work too.
