I'm prone to bad hayfever.

I also get a really bad stuffed up nose that doesn't seem to be pollen related, although I get it more in the summer. I did wonder about vasomotor rhinitis - which can be psychosomatic. I get a lot of psychosomatic stuff.
I did have bad sinus and catarrh trouble as a child, too, and was on phenergan and piriton and otrivine drops every day for years.

Last year I had a bad stuffed up nose, and was given antihistamines by my GP, and they did nothing. Just make me spaced out. I stopped taking them as I don't need any more dissociating than I have already, ta!
It came on really bad this afternoon.
Just now I was feeling really anxious with it, and couldn't breathe.
I just had a rescue remedy pastille, and it actually has made me breathe easier!

Can it really be hay fever, or is it a manifestation of more of my subconscious anxiety stuff? *sighs*
Any thoughts?

I have suffered from this for a while now... it comes and goes. I've tried everything. I've been told it has to do with past life issues and karmic matters. So, perhaps until I finally deal with this, it may stay. Who knows?

I also suffer from bad hayfever in the summer but also suffer the same symptoms from March to October as I not only react to pollen but also tree spoers, grass sproes and fungal spores.
I was diagnosed as having persistent rhinitis and I take antihistamines regularly as well as using a nasal spray and eye drops.
Nothing totally eliviates the symptoms and I ma now looking at alternative therapies to see if Mother Nature can help me!!

I also get hayfeaver which used to start in June and that would kick off asthma about a month later. I think I may have mentioned in another post that I tried a local honey in the winter months taking it every day. This year I did not get the hayfeaver anywhere near as bad.
