Hello to all the members of the forum!:)

Just a quick note to share a tip. Recently I discovered I had bad reactions to milk and dairy products and while looking in the internet for the causes of my symptoms I came across the website of Lactofree.

For me, it was really useful because the site provides information about the series of common symptoms associated to dairy and lactose intolerance, and even provides a brief comment about the reactions to milk allergy, helping you distinguish which one is the real source of discomfort.

I did not know those conditions were different ailments, anyway, in case you are interested you might want to check it out.

Hi

Yes intolerance to milk is become ever more prevalent, mostly because of imbalanced gut bacteria as a result of poor recovery after taking antibiotics. The site is helpful for those who need to understand what is the difference between allergy and intolerance and the different symptoms involved.

If someone is intolerant, they will need to avoid the substance absolutely for at least 2 months before being free of it - retesting or challenging with a good dollop will show whether the product causes a reaction.

All the best

Caroline

Indeed a very interesting site.
My boyfriend has just recently found to be intolerant and we are still in the process of getting used to this situation.
The site has lots of information on it - I bet it will help! Thx for posting 🙂

BioCare Lactase Enzyme can deal with lactose intolerance, comes in 15ml liquid which is derived from Aspergillus oryzae, has been shown to be effective in hydrolysing milk sugar (Lactose)
