Hello everyone, my name is Paola and I live in Brighton.
I'm a 'Reiki person', having been attuned to level II (twice, in fact!). I am hoping to eventually move on to Master level and then ideally teach Reiki at weekend workshops.
I have a day office job so at the moment I'm not set up as a 'practitioner', although I do have a massage couch from back when I studied fitness and sports massage (many many years ago...), so I occasionally do free treatments for friends and colleagues.
I am also learning to read the Tarot - so far I'm self-taught but I'm exploring all the various options, courses etc. I've been teaching myself for about two years and every reading feels like a 'wow' moment when I decode the cards. I love it 
My other interests are reading (I'm a bookwarm) and Ashtanga yoga, which I've been practising for about a year.

Hi Paola and welcome! I am from Brighton too. 
I would definitely recommend doing your Reiki Level 3 (masters). I loved doing mine.

Hi Sue, great to meet someone else from Brighton! Because Reiki and the Tarot are not my job (yet!), I actually don't know many people in the 'field', which is crazy because Brighton is full of people into this kind of thing. The people at work with think that I'm really 'alternative' - a colleague asked me if I was a witch! (the word 'Wiccan' wasn't in her vocabulary). 
I would have said, "yes I am but I left my broomstick at home"

I came on here on my day off to chill out and meet some new people. I have woken up late (my prerogative on a day off) and so missed my Yoga class, so reading your mention of Yoga, I thought hmmm maybe I should have woken up earlier. But then there´s always the Pilates class afterwards, although not the same as Yoga. It would have been a Vinyasa class. Anyway, lovely to meet another intuitive and energy worker :wave:
Hey Paola and welcome from another newbie. We have a few things in common - Reiki level 2 and learning Tarot. I'm also an RMT which is my main line of work for now. This site is very good for all types of therapies and the members are relly goos and courteous in answering questions.
I don't know if we can post links to good Tarot forums, but one that I really like has the word aeclectic in its name.
