If it happens again go to the Law Society. Managers just bury complaints.
Well it would be enough to know that the manager ticked the solicitor off, i.e. ensured it won't recur.

The Law Society rarely finds against the solicitor. It's a representative body, not an ombudsman.

If the pessimist says the glass is half empty...
and the optimist that the glass is half full...
does the realist say it's the wrong size glass!? 
Does a survivor say "just gimme the water!"? 
Do the elite exclaim "what's this? Take it away immediately - I ordered champagne in a flute glass!"
