Conscience relates to our morals! I would actually feel guilty to be born into a privileged upbringing. It would make me feel uncomfortable to see the poor suffering.
I fail to see why it should make one feel uncomfortable to be born into a privileged upbringing. It is what you do in life that counts irrespective of upbringing.
I would hope that it would make every one uncomfortable to see any one suffering, rich or poor.

I think that suffering does not discriminate who it latches on to, rich or poor, high or low.
I've known many poor people who were far happier than many rich people. Admittedly money can alleviate some problems but the saying is true that you can't buy happiness.

This is true but it is a deviation from the original point that was made, i.e. changing the context.
