I have asked my sister who is qualified , to provide some mini treatments for a pamper event. She is reluctant to pay a whole years insurance to work for 3 hours is there any insurances which cover you for a few hours work or will she have to pay for the year + membership?

Best bet is to contact the insurance companies and ask. Some may do it, others may say you have to buy a years worth but then you can cancel it after and get a refund on remaining full months (plus there'll be an 'admin' charge).
Weigh up the options and see if it's feasible.
