Hey I like it guys! 🙂 Normally I have a moan because nobody likes change, but this looks fresh and fun.
Ha - I was finding it too small and faint in colour to read easily, so just tried and it's not in black - have changed it above.
Love and peace,
Judy
Hello Judy!!
Yes once again we have changed... little bit scary, happened this morning... still trying to filter out the glitches, any problems please do let us know 🙂
Change is great fun. I like it too.
OS/Browser: Windows7 / IE11 (in case it makes a difference)
The Notifications drop down has a HUGE font... making it horrible...
The new logo...
Just doesn't say "health" related to me.
Apple... yes
Heart... yes
Speech bubble... erm... no. It's just too generic and seems like HP has lost it's identity, or is just using some generic template, so is not set up properly yet.
When looking at the "Members" section of the community, it used to have a part on the page showing "New Members" with the latest dozen or so members. That was a first starting point for identifying the obvious spammers and getting rid of them and also just to see who was newly joined.
Can we have that back please. 🙂
Another in terms of moderating... the "Reported Posts" haven't been transferred across, so we have no history of them showing and the few that were still outstanding have gone.
Also, for moderating, the ability to apply warnings, or ban, or mark as spam etc. are missing. The other things like Move posts/threads and Edit/Delete them are still there.
I agree about the huge notification font. And the logo. Also - have the 'likes' doubled?
I have noticed that the email notifications now include the content of the post which is a plus factor! ![]()
Am opportunity was missed though in having a wider repertoire of emoticons, e.g. the one given here and maybe...
but perhaps not

Sorry not too impressed. I liked the old layout were it was easy to pick up on a continuing forum thread. Now I have to dig through "general discussions" to see what threads are current. Maybe I just don't like change for the sake of change.
Just had a look at the listed topics and found a thread that was of interest. "Reiki and Science Healing" There was an update on this thread yesterday but there is now no prompt in the forum header. The old layout had prompts that indicated that there was activity going on, you did not have to "search" the whole forum looking for new updates.
Sometimes if you are active on more than one topic you can miss an activity update especially if it goes quiet for a few days so the prompt pane was very useful.

Under the 'Forums' button at the top, if you place your mouse over that word it gives a list of features, e.g. New Posts However, locating New Posts doesn't always display the latest posts, i.e. once New Posts is located, there is a section to the right called RECENT POSTS which, when clicked on, WILL give the latest posts!!! A tad confusing.
Below the Forums button is a flag symbol (used to be the notification symbol) which will light up to display any new posts to a thread you have posted in. That's how I found your post!

Also interesting for me, I can not find my listings that I purchased! I truly come to this website for the forums and the conversations. I have learn a great deal and has opened my mind and thoughts to different way of viewing. However, I do not know how to contact someone about my small listing. That is a bit frustrating. But the rest is of wonder and a learning curve..

Sorry but I've spent most of my working life simplifying systems and the old adage that "if it works leave it alone" is not to be ignored.
I don't know about anyone else but the forum is my main interest, I just want to log on and quickly check for recent activity, as I could before. It makes no sense to me to have to go through all the additional hoops that Amy described just to find a continuance of a topic.
Well done Amy, finally got there.

On the whole, I agree. Although I'll most likely get used to the new site pretty quickly and I'm not about to lose sleep over it.
However, it is typical of modern life, isn't it? Every update of Windows means more clicks, more complications, to do things that used to be easy. Banks decide to complicate our security practices, not for our convenience but for theirs. It's a pain. Life's too short.
So, I ask (Mike?) - why the change? What was working so badly that we needed the upheaval?
