Sad to see someone so young pass away. I'm annoyed though that he was slagged off by the press so much when he was alive - yet after he's died they are eulogising all the charity work he'd done. Double standards methinks.

It was inspiring to read that he'd done so much and had raised over £100 million for charity. Many parents have come forward to say that if it hadn't been for him their children wouldn't have been alive now (so much for the NHS) and that he was such a humble and down to earth person not playing the big "I am" just because he was a celeb. If more people followed his example, the world would be a better place.

There've been several celeb deaths already this year

30th Jan - Jeremy Beadle
22nd Jan - Heath Ledger
11th Jan - Sir Edmund Hillary

to name a few

RIP

I remember watching Beadles about and You've been framed when I was younger. He was a good guy.

Just thinking about what you've said above and I wondered why you would feel sorry for someone who has died. I can understand feeling sorry for the grieving family and friends, but the dead person is at peace and on the next stage of their soul's journey. Surely no reason to feel sorry for them.

Just a thought.

xx

I know what you mean Sunanda and many people believe that whatever age you die at - it's because you've completed your reason to be here on earth. In some religions it's linked to a belief in reincarnation. For someone who doesn't believe this - it can be hard. I tend to feel sorry (and this is me just answering your query on a personal basis) for some people who have died (and their relatives as well) because they never had the chance to do things they wanted to do or what most people take for granted. For example if a baby dies - he/she's never had the chance to play in the park, go to school/college, have a relationship, have children, go on holiday, have a faith, have hobbies etc etc. Even if someone dies as an adult like Jeremy Beadle or Princess Diana - there may have been things they planned/wanted to achieve but their life ended before they had the chance. But this is just my opinion.
