Couple of things here.
My theory on her murder, which in my mind it undoubtedly was, she was pregnant but not with Dodi's baby, it was Hasnat Khan's.
He was the person she loved but he dumped her (running scared) so she found herself a replacement muslim so she could continue with the pregnancy.
Being a Daily Mail reader I am always amused by the amount of times this newspaper is mentioned, here on HP and in the media generally. There is no such thing as bad publicity and I bet the DM lap it up. `Daily Mail Readers` were mentioned on Question Time last night and also I belive on `Have I got News for You` in a derisory tone of course, but mentioned nevertheless. When do you ever hear Telegraph, Times, Guardian readers mentioned?

Oh, I dunno, OB, I often hear Guardian readers referred to just as stereotypically as Mail readers, except they are polar opposites: ie Guardian readers are left wing muesli eating eco warriors or bleeding heart liberals while Mail readers are....well, I wouldn't want to offend you!!!

Ha ha Sunanda I know what your saying!
There's an old comedy routine about who reads which paper. I used to entertain my American tourists with it although I had to explain that the Morning Star was the Communist paper (is it still going, I wonder?) You should also bear in mind that this is over 25 years old so considerably out of date. Anyway, it went like this:
The Financial Times is read by the people who own the country.
The Times is read by the people who run the country.
The Daily Mirror is read by the people who think they run the country.
The Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country.
The Daily Express is read by the people who think the country ought to be run the way it used to be run.
The Daily Telegraph is read by the people who think the country still is run the way it used to be run.
The Morning Star is read by the people who think the country should be run by another country.
And the Sun is read by the people who don't care who runs the country...as long as she's got big ones!!!

Oh yes, it's still going!

I've been away from HP for nearly 3 years - hard to believe this one is still running when I return!
I'm really with Judy's first post on this page. It's high time we laid the whole subject to rest - it doesn't bring out the best in anybody.
David Kelly is another matter, but I fear that whatever we're not being told, it will only be released in 50 years' time...
Welcome back! Plus ca change...
