He may not have killed himself, could just be someone clearing up the loose ends.
Well, that is the obvious thing and what I meant.

Yet again so easy to be sucked into a conspiracy theory. Whatever really happened the truth will come out. It always does.
Best Wishes

I'm sorry but I disagree: the truth almost never comes out. It is clear now for example that JFK was killed by a large conspiracy, but the powers in control never act. The shooters of JFK are probably all dead themselves now, so they got away with it.

I somehow doubt the truth will come out through the medium of the Daily Express or the Daily Mail....
I agree!

I received a message from a tall, willowy blonde woman aged 36 called Diana. I had no idea who it was and simply gave the message - which was about dietary advice for the medium! Only afterwards did the medium tell me it was Princess Diana for whom she had done some readings.
I am sorry, but have you ever seen Harry Hill on TV and how he would pronounce this? 🙂 "Yeah right". 🙂
PS to all - my Puter is breaking down so I may not be able to do posts or email for a while - we shall see.

Hi,
My only opinion on Princess Diana comes from a mediumship experience.
I was training with a very experienced medium and at the end of the day she asked us all to get a message linked to her.I received a message from a tall, willowy blonde woman aged 36 called Diana. I had no idea who it was and simply gave the message - which was about dietary advice for the medium! Only afterwards did the medium tell me it was Princess Diana for whom she had done some readings.
Now my thought is this - if you had been murdered and wanted people to know the truth - why would you bother giving dietary advice to a medium and not use that link to tell the world how you were murdered. The dead are very keen to give messages and tell the truth.
Funny how the dead never seem to pass on information that is in any way useful to mankind or even interesting. I think it was Christopher Hitchens who made a similar point about Jesus: if he is so omniscient and omnipotent, with such an important message to convey, how come he apparently chooses to make his appearances on a Marmite lid or a potato?
There certainly are questions that hang over Diana's death, but I'm yet to be convinced that it was premeditated assassination. There were so many variable factors involved - not least that they weren't wearing seatbelts. There must be easier ways to assassinate a person with less risk of failure. I'm not even convinced about motives, either. I don't think she was such a threat or loose cannon. She was as flawed a human being as anyone, but her faults have been forgotten and she's attained legendary status. The Royal Family have brought enough scandal on themselves since the beginning of their exsistence, her possibly being engaged to and expecting a child with a Muslim Egyptian man would've been absolutely nothing.
Going off topic slightly, I found some peoples' behaviour and reaction to her death utterly repugnant. I was working in a record shop at the time, and when Elton John released his re-hash of Candle in the Wind I was subjected to abusive customers who were literally FIGHTING over the last copies left in the shop. I was also sickened by the idea that people were hurrying past homeless people on the street to place flowers at Kensington Palace.
Yes, it was sad when she died and she carried out much positive work in her life, but she was by no means perfect.
Well said, Tigerlily. And your point about a car crash being a lousy means of assassination is spot-on.

Good point Supersub!! As far as Jesus goes, he gave us his Sermon on the Mount and a record of great works - what more is needed?
As far as Diana is concerned, when oh when will the poor woman (and her family) be able to rest in peace?
I totally agree with you Tigerlily, a car crash is far too haphazard a method of assassination. There have been countless inquests and they have all come to the same conclusion.
Also please remember that the newspapers and magazines lost a valuable source of revenue with her death.... Sales are bad with the recession .....
How must her sons feel when this ghoulish fascination keeps rearing its ugly head? It's not going to bring her back.

How true, Judy. During her life, there wasn't a single week that would go by without a story of her in at least one newspaper or magazine. There was a media obsession with her. Seems there still is.

Naughty, naughty LOL. You know very well that's human psychology at work. 😀

Yep I agree with all of that, which is why I am a "don't know".
The fact she was not perfect maybe just endears her to people BTW.
If it was assassination, I can't at all see it as being from the Royal Family, or even the official body of MI6. But there are almost always break-away factions within a Secret Service. So it would have been a break-away faction of MI6 and possibly others involved.
We can't be too naive. IMHO it is glaringly clear that david Kelly was assassinated, and that our government - and all the trite investigations - have covered it up. So these things do IMHO go on, and we are kept in the dark. It's off-topic, but Kelly is a clear example of how "someone" in power is able to kill and get away with it, not ever having a genuine national inquiry. The very people doing the enquiry are probably the ones in on it. In fact they were appointed in that case to wipe the slate clean.

Oh, totally agree with you on David Kelly. I'm not so naive to think that it doesn't go on, and that some public assassinations have been set up by organisations and have a patsy to take the blame.
Just in Diana's case I'm yet to be convinced. There couldn't be a messier or less efficient way of deliberately doing away with someone.

I agree - and let's not forget that if she and Dodi had been wearing seats belts they probably would be alive today.

Absolutely right. For the last seven years of her life, I was deputy editor of a newspaper, and if we were ever stuck for a front-page picture, my question would always be: "What was Diana doing today?" You could never lose with a Diana picture.
Nobody has replaced her in that regard, or is ever likely to for a long, long time.

Just off-topic and into tabloids for a moment. I was today reading a summary of a novel (really about himself more-or-less) by a past editor of The Sun. Hm! He wouldn't allow his own paper into his home, started out on 4 bottles of wine a day and increased from there ... so that he'd wake up in the morning after an alcoholic black-out, petrified: "What did I write that millions read in the lead yesterday????"
