This has been a long-running subject on HP. I am a "don't know". But I am also very convinced by some of the evidence - see past threads.
I just at random got a paper, the Express, and it claims to have a lot of evidence that Diana was killed - not by the Royal Family (which seems irrational anyway) but by a faction of MI6. My whole point in posting about this was to give a link here to the Express. Guess what? It was a major story in the paper but I find no link online: can anyone?
I still think there is a fairly good chance that she was murdered: it is all in the paper but not online? There are innumerable unanwered questions: for example, her car WAS hit by another, and that car was finally tracked down to be owned by a member of the French Secret Service - who very conveniently "committed suicide" in the very same car which burned up with him in it.
Why would he kill himself and what was his link to the death of Diana? It is clearly established that his car hit hers in the tunnel. What was a spy of France doing there anyway, let alone hitting her car?

Two things spring to mind.
His link could have been that he was involved in the assassination.
He may not have killed himself, could just be someone clearing up the loose ends.
I'm not looking too deeply into this, but a google on Diana was killed revealed masses of results, including the Daily Mail:
which at least seems to be fairly recent.

Thanks for the link Holistic, I haven't thought of that one before. I never believed that it was purely an accident. Yet again so easy to be sucked into a conspiracy theory. Whatever really happened the truth will come out. It always does.
Best Wishes

I somehow doubt the truth will come out through the medium of the Daily Express or the Daily Mail....

:eek:What are you saying?:D
Ummmm.....something about certain newspapers preferring to sell newspapers than limit themselves strictly to the truth. Something about certain newspapers pandering to the sensationalist public. Something about this possibly being a subject that should be put to bed now and Diana left in peace. It was a long time ago....we should all have moved on by now.

Hey, no shooting of messengers, please ... it's not nice! 😀
I was responding to this in V's OP:

So I found one, to the Daily Wail. Members' opinions of these newspapers are well recorded here, so perhaps my comment that it was at least fairly recent should have been accompanied by many expressions from the smiley department like  and 😉 and even another 😀

Fingers are considering themselves rapped, Hol.
Hi,
My only opinion on Princess Diana comes from a mediumship experience.
I was training with a very experienced medium and at the end of the day she asked us all to get a message linked to her.
I received a message from a tall, willowy blonde woman aged 36 called Diana. I had no idea who it was and simply gave the message - which was about dietary advice for the medium! Only afterwards did the medium tell me it was Princess Diana for whom she had done some readings.
Now my thought is this - if you had been murdered and wanted people to know the truth - why would you bother giving dietary advice to a medium and not use that link to tell the world how you were murdered. The dead are very keen to give messages and tell the truth.
So in my mind she wasn't murdered. She seemed far to at peace to have suffered in that way.
Kind regards,
Christina

Hello Christina,
Maybe Dianna didn't say anything to the medium because she knows how pointless it would have been, nobody would have taken it seriously simply because the information came via a channeling medium in the first place, all saying anything would achieve is the newspapers having yet another gufaw at mediums, channels anything metaphyical etc AGAIN lol.
Yes I have always believed there was something very dodgy going on, I've always felt it is connected to the rumour of Dianna being pregnant at the time and how the British Establishment cannot and willnot tolerate the furure king having a half brother or sister who is Egyptian and possibly Muslim also.

I borrowed a book written by an ex SAS man who looked at all angles on Princess Diana's demise - possible reasons and impossible involvements. It came down very strongly on murder and gave options of MI6, the Royals, and American arms factions (she was causing serious problems with sales of mines and other armaments) but stopped short of indicating which. It was very interesting! The recent piece in the paper was in a similar vein and was probably revived to sell copy.
I do believe she was 'taken out' - too much of a loose cannon and way too popular!
